Sacrificial fire
ascension requires sacrifice
pure heart with resolve will suffice
that we rise higher and higher
discarding each and every vice
truth is a sacrificial fire
consigning ego to the pyre
our auric field is magnetised
no desire left which we aspire
life no longer then weighed or sized
in time we become the one-eyed
focus firm to merge Self with God
that thus He may be realised
God dwells in our mind-body pod
once we are still and heart has thawed
we see our Self as living light
exalted giving love our nod
as the flame that banishes night
free from attributes lustre white
beyond space-time we yet remain
highest pinnacle of delight
sacrifice thus cleanses soul’s stain
liberating us from life’s chain
the path but requires that we yield
to God’s blessings falling like rain
