Bukowski contest judged MADE A Mistake

I made a mistake on the placements, sorry guys- but there was only one 1 st place winner and that was Robert Chandler. The other 2 placements under him were not supposed to be there. Their poems were outstanding, however weren't supposed to place due to the poems had nothing to do with Bukowski. Thanks for the understanding, and thank you all for joining! Very hard one to judge!

I can't believe that during my break from the soup there was a BUKowski Contest! WOW! Hank is hands down the best writer in my book. He was also one interesting guy. Ham On Rye, Women, Hollywood, Pulp, I could go on and on about his books, (and those aren't even his poetry books) Well, I am so glad someone shined the light on Old BUK. Just wish I could have joined in!

I really enjoyed reading his poems, thanks for putting the spotlight on Charles Bukoswki. Thank you very much Amy for my placement, I was really surprised with it, I was happy as it is to write something new, so thanks for hosting this contest. Congratulations to all your winners!

This was just too hard to judge. I almost just gave 1st to everyone, seriously... that's how close it was. So many good entries, differing points of views which were all so well thought out and researched. Everyone did so amazingly well, even ones that were not in winner are due to lack of following directions were astounding.

amy, you can remove them, you just need to go into your winners page, mark N/A against them then update the page...some excellent poems for this contest btw, and congrats to all winners :)

This make no sense, those 2 are not showing on winner page or even in the 2nd list... can't find them anywhere- what the heck? O' well. They are both beautifully written, just not fir this particular contest

I also had never read him before I can't say I would have liked the man but I did like his poetry, Picasso was like that for me as well, liked the art but not the man THANKS
