The Final Prayer

If I should die before I wake
Lord heal the hearts my death might break
Comfort those I leave behind
And let Your peace be easy to find

Let them know that I'm okay
You sent an angel to guide my way
And even though I'm out of sight
I'm not gone, I've found the Light

Wipe their tears and heal their grief
And let Your whispers bring relief
Each time they pray Lord heal their pain
Comfort those that still remain

When they feel lost Lord, shine Your Light
Guide them through their darkest night
If they look for me in all they do
Lord take my place so they find You

Let my death be the essence of Hope
A promise of Life to help them cope
That one day soon they'll meet me there
If this should be my final prayer
