Treat Her Right

I didn’t stay
because you didn’t listen
Warring night and day
for a little attention

Forget promises whispered
at the alter
What about us?
When did we falter?

It only counts when two
equals one
But when one plus one equals two
It’s time I left you

(Some writings will be very simple,
and really stupid.
I am going from back to front and
attempting to write in every form)

I have known such pain and am glad we parted after nine years. Now I have been one with my true love for twenty one years.
