Exactly when did we begin to forget
To appreciate life in all it's glory and magnificence?
How can we estimate freedom or it's price, how
are we to teach our children anything...
In the face of such distortion.
We westerners expect to be treasured and esteemed-
then cry a river when someone is mean
And, didn't you know, about the new craze?!
Designer pills pushed at us- to boost self esteem.
Oh baby cry to mom and dad-
You have no clue about what horrors
there really are
Too bad mom and dad aren't here
They would have comforted you, protect
and succumb to your every wish.
People need to be shown what
fear really is
Worst being your family gone
so do forget-
so ashamed we should be
When so many others' live in misery.
Consider yourself lucky, upon a land so great
because some children, at their parents
hand are sold into slavery.
Repent and quit your foolish ways-
listen to the story of fear under ruthless
regiments
and endless torment-
Take nothing for granted- you never know
when will be your last day.
