I got an email today that one of our neighbors back home just passed away. We have a small neighborhood, only ten homes and everyone knows everyone else, there are no just simply polite waves, every wave really means hello or goodbye and Helen always waved and always remembered your name. She was born in 1920 and tended her garden until last summer when she could no longer live alone. I'd like you to think of a write that will honor her or others you have known who have been a part of your life. You've got time, The contest won't be posted until my current one ends. Same rules as usual - read the ones to my current contest but I will say this - write in any form you like, like judges in the outside world I don't care about form in this case, just feeling/emotion but I do care about originality and creativity. Take your time, you've got a couple weeks before the contest so you can let it hatch as I will my own. Please enter no matter our cyber status---I judge poetry, not relationships. Fly right!  Oh, and God rest your soul Dear Helen, it's such a pretty name...Please title your poem "The Lady Down the Lane" so I will not read it--Thanks
