The Notch

Echoes ripple on the lake
and reflect its guardian slopes.

From ridge to ridge
creviced faces slip to scree.

Shadows crawl from
       dawn to dusk
    as the sun
plays hide and seek,
and basin rivers run
their course where
memories never sleep...

Thanks John, I love all the notches up here, Franconia is what this is about and then Crawford and Dixville - beautiful country!
