Ethereal Lantern

Adrift, asunder - the shore, a vision only dreamt of where the longing stares of sunsets linger and wish... until, a million other suns shed their light of yesterdays ~before I ever wept or loved~ I wonder, is our sun a lantern to be wished upon on some planet light years away? And, is it quite as warm as lanterns on the harbor shore or the porch lamp's glow...

Dear craig, I really love this poem, read this few times, and everytime, i felt the evocative touch of your words flowing so seamlessly. It has an ethereal glow, and the way youv questioned is soulfully divine and so moving! I love especially the lines “ where the longing stares of sunsets linger and wish“ so creative! “ I wonder, is our sun a lantern to be wished upon on some planet light years away?“ that hit the strongest! So deeply meaningful! Pleasure reading. Congratulations
