Precious Friends

A number of you have been in touch with via mail to express feelings of support and friendship. These have touched me so deeply and are among the most memorable things that anyone has ever said to me in my life. I'll never forget them.
Dear Becca, especially you have prevailed and for your sake and the sake of so many others, I will not disengage. I truly love you and admire your caring spirit.
To those who might view me as a quitter. Consider the magnitude of the star map projects I have completed recently. They required years to complete. Tens of thousands of objects that had to be accurately plotted. I often worked until 2 AM getting them done. They can be viewed on my web page at www.starglobalmapping.com.
The new atlas encompasses separate map panels for all 88 constellations, revealing stars by spectral class and magnitude to 8.5, double stars, variable stars, nova and supernova remnants, stellar associations, the milky way in five different levels of brightness, reflection, emission and dark nebulae, galaxies, planetary nebulae, globular and galactic clusters. In the case of complex constellations like Ursa Major, Andromeda and Scorpius, this involves thousands of objects and perhaps 100,000 objects for the atlas overall and using two different projections: equatorial and polar case stereographic. You can see a portion of Scorpius on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/mark.peterson.792. You have to scroll down a ways to find it.
I apologize for my sensitivity when performance doesn't measure up to expectation.
