The Universe

Form gained in the absence of space, like picturing a stick with one end. Matter and time to create and embrace— origin scarcely to comprehend. Innumerable cities of dazzling stars, setting aglow endless deep. Sapphire dot in the void we call ours— adrift in the universe, our secret to keep. Here I found one I never saw before. I really like this, MArk. sorry to see it did not win. I have not been doing well in Nina's contests lately. I wish she would do standard contests to include ones like this that pass through the cracks!

I’m really grateful for your response. The difficult challenge of this is to describe the universe in fewer than ten lines. I couldn’t even describe a candle flame so concisely!
