The Social Implications of Special Relativity

Relativity’s science has its place,
yet surprises us with social rhyme.
For if you say you need your space,
then be prepared to give me time.

For if expanding space for you 
then contracts your time with me, 
perhaps we'll need to soon undo 
our bonds of relativity

Carolyn Devonshire June 11, 2014 at 4:03 PM Mark, when someone says they need "space," like you I tend to wait and see if they return at a time when I'm receptive. It's often a herald of a relationship falling apart. Those "bonds of relativity" can be quite frail. Well said!
