Just Like the Wind
Just like the wind,
you swept into my life—
swirled around me.
I leaned on you
to keep from falling.
But the wind
stirred dust
that filled my eyes;
I shed many tears.
When I finally
blinked them clear,
the air was still,
and you were gone.
Just like the wind.
