A Tribute To Someone Near
Each day when I awake
She appears as
Golden sunshine that both
Uplifts and warms my
Yearning heart
And I dwell within a palace
Of her love where radiance
Unending, rich with
Wisdom flows and
Blesses me with strength
Even then at end of day
As our peaceful world
Grows still, she comes as
Moonlight walking and
Grants me precious sleep
Who is this dream
That captivates
My world but is
Not of it
And never will be
A kiss that
I might give
Will never be
Enough, but she
Treasures it as rubies
I’m floating now through
Gardens of delight and
Marvel that another
Year awaits and still
This vision I can hold
