Premium Member MY SWEET GIRL

My Sweet Girl

Giddy baby, giggles and dimples,
hardly ever cried
Except when time for Mommy’s awaking,
With patient eyes she spied.

Humming with gurgling baby sounds,
Hair wispy softly curled,
Watching down the hall to catch me,
By precious, my sweet girl.

Quietly at play all the while,
two fingers in her mouth,
By chance If hearing my door open,
Only then she cried aloud.

If I could skip across the hall,
Bathroom just across from my room,
It must be done without a sound
I would quickly zoom.

But if she saw me my sweet girl,
would loudly make it known
Cries interpreted “Aha! I see you!
Your cover has now been blown!”

Premium Member A Hard and Sweet Life

A woman kneads dough for cakes.
She is sad and weary of life...
Into every piece, she mixes both a little anger
and joy – for herself, for the children, for her man.
She holds nothing back from life.
When the cakes are baked,
the anger fades away
and only the aroma of joy remains...

Sweet devotion

Sweet devotion
You are everything I ever wanted
You hello Say to me
You never say that to me friend
Sweet devotion
I don't know how to live
Without you
I need you every hour my friend
Do you love me friend?
Let me hear yes

Premium Member September Melody

The autumn day is beautiful and sweet,
and the sounds of nature ring loud and sharp;
I stand listening to a lone bird song.

His tweets, chirps and twirls an echoing song,
I am in awe of his melody sweet;
and then, the wind answers in whispers sharp.

Somewhere, a tree branch breaks with a crack sharp,
disturbing tranquility of this song;
I love nature and the hidden sounds sweet.

Let this sweet, sharp, song ever drift and float.

Premium Member dreams, sweet

( extended sonnet )

o there's a twilight magic midst the mist
it floats between the eventide and dawn
         attending winds of fancy, heaven-kissed
that billow with sweet breaths of Avalon
so waiting on a hope 'til gloaming's gone
a sea of suns to cast your dreams upon

o there is an enchantment thru the night
that dances with dark charm and reverie
it holds all yearnings in its bosom, bright
and waits for your desire to set them free
to plumb the inky depths of midnight sea
     and loose your sleep's imaginings-to-be

o there are wonders in the evening’s air
thus brought to full fruition in your sleep
all spun to threads of artfulness and care
and woven into wishes, grand and deep
a tapestry of moonbeams meant to keep
the secrets of the twilight in its creep …

and ev’ry soul who tends that great expanse
obliges your sweet dreaming … as they dance.

Sweet Holy Pain

Every brush stroke feels like I’m healing
As I paint these stars all over your ceiling
Drawing constellations all over the walls
Slow dancing to you every time that you call

I trace the soft orbits of our shadows aligned
To rid the world of perfection—it’d be so unkind
No man or Adonis could entrap me, its feeble
You’re a child of beauty, so damn pure and regal

I wait in the depths of my own bleeding heart
Trying to tear down the walls that keep us apart
You grant me sweet nothings—a pleasurable start
I’m living on the moon now and I’ll never depart

Fading in, fading out with every kiss of your name
You’ve got me in your palm and I have no one to blame
Take a bow in the silence, my efforts are in vain
Because loving you darling.. is sweet holy pain.

Soft and Stormy

soft, creamy, gooey
sweet pudding melts on my tongue
rain falls in torrents
what's better than caramel?
warm inside, stormy outside!

The Pirouette of Pristine Pink

Pristine pink pumps press
past the pale pine,
Placing poised pirouettes,
perfectly prime.
Proudly, she pauses, portraying
pure grace,
Pacing the platform, a phantom
in lace.
She spins sweet symphonies,
swift, soft, and still,
Soaring so splendidly, showing
sublime skill.
Silken skirts shimmer and
shadows start sliding.

I translated this from German to English. Which unfortunately makes it less elegant.

      To share my love,
nothing more painful can I imagine,
than to tear my heart in two.

To be bound to someone eternally,
but never fully belong to him
There is neither yes nor no,
           just endless desire.

     To be betrayed, in the
     most cruel way, is not
       with the body, but
          with the heart.

 Chaos of emotions, Love and
Suffering have never been closer to
each other.

                 How will this End, no
                 solution in sight
                 With pain and tears?
                       I don't know

The obligation, to have to make a decision
          weighs heavily on my Shoulders

Longheld sorrows went up in smoke
After every word you wrote or spoke.

twilight is falling
on the river of Desire
I’m dreaming in vain…
young love never comes to me
by a silent lonely lane

A Slippery Tongue

So sweet, a double-crossed tongue.
The moment we taste its flavor,
We lose our minds completely.

And out is born
A brand new creature.

So foul, a double-crossed tongue.
The moment we spit out its taste,
We come back to our senses.

And out is born
A filthy creature.

"And lo, that very creature of mold is you!"

Premium Member Sweet Charlie Cat!

My Charlie cat, many long years ago
would use a pet door to come in and go.
But at times he gave way
let a neighborhood stray
sneak in, eat his food, pretend not to know.

Premium Member Lay down my sweet head -CM

Lost in wondering who I am today,
Cost of living for the current day.
Pictures of myself looking like a stranger,
Fixtures of typical I perceived as danger.

Tossed straight into the frigid bay,
Crossed easily by those who know the way.
Strictures of expectations, 'you must change her'.
Scriptures, theirs; an itchy manger.

Premium Member Baby Blue

A soft blue cotton
On even softer skin;
The sweetest little package
Tucked just beneath my chin.

Across pale fabric
Little foxes roam.
Wherever he may wander,
He'll know my arms as home.

A bright blue blanket
Serves as a sky,
To bring into focus
The twinkle of his eyes.

Clear blue pools;
All that I can see,
When my baby boy
Is looking up at me.

Look my little baby,
And know that I can see.
