The Rhythm Of Renewal

Listen to the sea's waves:
Stability is unusual, it moves...
Up and down; forth and back,
At its own pace when need be.

See what billowing wind craves,
Eventually excite many like grooves.
It renews at every glance of its attack;
Its dancing hands set rolling... to flea.

Watch the chirping birds out of cage,
See how enhanced the voices echo...
Soothing the ears' warm feelings, gaze
At- in mind to healing pondered sounds.

Laughter don't worry about frowning rage,
Set to take over pleasure in its acapulco,
After mouth spreads to diving joy, lips appraise
Away from the tears...frowning gaze sorrounds.

Appreciate once more, the troubling care,
Love staged and will stage to startle you...
When hopeful darkened cloud appears cold,
And rumbling thunder couldn't set lighting on.

Patiently wait beside the Sun's light's flair,
Wandering around the adventurous moon's view...
To redeem what darkened cloud can't long hold
Before its light glow freely beyond dark's run...

Time and Moment
Bayou look
Sun glistens like a mirror
Bayou shining like a diamond
Reflection of one
Life journey
Dew that rises through the fog
The highest in expectations
From inspiration to wisdom
Stretching horizon
Bayou illustration the you
Through the Bayou Mirror of the face, eyes and mouth
Showing the possibilities of capabilities within
Ancestors that were here before me
Echoes of their voices
Years gone by
Breakthroughs yonder
Darkness that came to be and now light broadens
Time and minute have come
Shine and be counted in the Legacy
Theory with its own story
Bayou again
Understanding gained
Promise for tomorrow
Value in the Bayou eyes
The skies and wonder in wise
Here one is
Shall be
Inspiration Driven
Balanced life established
Factor and Center core.

MY HERO

My hero is someone I look up to
My hero is courageous
My hero helps with simple jobs
My hero doesn’t have to have super powers
My hero can be any race or sex
My hero could be a pet
My hero always listen
And the bottom line
Everyone has a hero in their life

Destruction by Desires

It is said that after every hardship there comes ease,
It’s true, but what about the struggle they faced?

They gazed for help, but people stand amazed,
They were crying, starving, and cried for help.

The ship sailed with food, water, and hope in their heart,
But who knows ahead there are hurdles in their path?

They are crying, but tears also dried up with thirst,
People’s hearts are filled with hate and revenge,
Stones are softer as they break when it rains.

Humans are the most productive and constructive creature on Earth,
But also the most destructive — as they build a building or destroy it.

They make a promise or break it,
They share, but claim on something that is not theirs.

And when they fail in doing so,
They destroy generations, families, and a whole country.

Bullets aim
Victims with names
Totally lame
Kill instance
Never stand nor rise
Close to the heart and hitting home
Each door becomes harder to roam
Families who mourn
Freedom that’s said, but hard to believe
Pistols and the hands behind
Wonder and yonder of hope
A world on hate that needs to think and cope
Guns are no joke
Lives cut short
When will guns finally end?
It’s up to Washington to respond in gun’s disappear
Living in Gunsmoke
Away with guns and let’s communicate
Families would love to see guns pull back
Let’s us all associate and appreciate
Guns have no place
Senseless murder a waste.

DOLLY

Dolly I am here and always near, just close your eyes and you can hear me clear.
Like the air we breathe, I am always near, sometimes strong and other times weak, but always near.
Life can be hard, and can be easy, but stay on your path, and take care.
Many may want to ruin you, some may want to praise you, but stay focused and follow all of your dreams.
If you fail, then try again, take another path, and keep moving ahead.
Life will have ups and downs, like a race we must run, be kind to yourself, and take your time to enjoy all life’s moments that are in this lifetime.
God has a plan for all, so pray and love, as we walk home in this time.
Lifting prayers to God, today and always.

NO

No, I will not follow the path of negative, I will pray and follow God, making all my days filled with awe.
No, I will not curse the blind of faith, for they do not know their fate, they lack love and are lost in space.
No, I will not curse those that have hurt me, I will pray for them for they are not able to awake, they are under a cloud of dark making them weak.
No, I will never forget all the good I feel and how to pray.
No, I will not self-hate, I will not be chained to hate, I will soar high and live each day with love for God in my heart and mind and soul.
No, I will not forget, my falls, my struggles, my losses, I will treasure each lesson and continue each day forward in this life.
Lifting prayers to God, today and always.

an almon tree and prisoners

Almond Tree and Prisoners
As a child, I lived near a farm, a farm that was
next door to a prison camp. Russian prisoners
marched up and down trying to keep warm
It was January with much frost, the year 1945
I thought of this today on my walk past my
An almond tree that is situated so well that it catches
most of the westerly sun, yet hidden behind
a Holm oak protected by Nordic wind blasts.
My tree is already flowering, and it has pink petals
shivers a bit dressed in a delicate nightdress.
The Russians had to wait longer for their spring
When it came, it was a false one;  they were sent
home and put in prison camps for surrendering
to the enemy. For some, winter is endless.

The Reflection of Reality

I think and wonder,
my heart thunders
with guilt and pain.

The reflection I see
in their cuts, scratches, and bruises
tells us the stories of suffering.

We sleep and see a dream,
but some are facing a nightmare in daylight.

The helper can’t help,
the supporter can’t support,
but the destroyer can destroy.

Somebody’s smile and laughter,
somebody’s dream and ambition,
and many lives...

Premium Member DEVASTED

A world I thought being enterprising
Never once realizing
Once had a job
Laid off being nobody fault
Landlord evicted a tenant out
Living on a city street
The pavement no one wants to be
Stuck in defeat
Must step on my two feet
All alone
No family
No shelter
Courage to muster
Settling in
Totally broke
Homelessness is no joke
No longer having an official address
In my own stress
Never knew homelessness before
Used to see people and just ignore
In the circumstance for sure
A lesson to learn
For grace it is now me
Now I know how homelessness feels
Feeling it and it is for real
Society is not your friend
Cover up being pretend
Cold and frustrated
The happening for a reason
Be careful in what you think
Open door wonder
Devasted
Homelessness could be you.

Vinyl of the Green Dawn

Play well the vinyl of your teenhood,
since it sounds nice like waters out of a spring,
but if not played with care and dexterity
it loses rhythm to the roars of thunderbolts.

Yet it always blooms like dawn of a bright day,
full of hopes, rewards, and aspirations
that can get blown away by veiled distractions
that may appear welcoming and comforting.

Green years plant trees with sweet fruits—
the wise sip the juice with caution.
Though sometimes so sweet the throat can’t resist,
its flavours are best savoured a bit at a time.

For those whose flowers still bloom,
take care to nurture and prune them.
Many dry seasons are ahead that can wilt them—
yet their beauty we pray to last us beyond dry weathers.

Let the record spin past its labeled side,
into the run-out groove where silence hums.
There the thunder is only a memory of rain,
and the spring, though distant, still feeds the roots.

i am untouched by my greatest shaper

for better or for worse
does not matter to me
when you have been here for both
and turned each into the other

and for better or for worse
i miss you most
when you stand in front of me
so as my longest memory you will stay

and i
i am untouched by my greatest shaper
but i remain engraved
