For Feeling Never Appealing

hard to read each pun
which will happen upon us
once upon a time

when he was wishing
while line on water swishing
he had been fishing

while at Westminster
really had been sinister
was such a spinster

should hear him squealing
trying to hide true feeling
never appealing

Song of old age

Let me now sing the song of my old age,
All I recount now belongs to the past.
Since the noticed changes are far too vast,
Let this song be sung by a real sage.

This face, now so old, ugly, and wrinkled,
Once shone with a glow, bright and appealing.
Though no longer fine, smooth, and now peeling,
This same old

A lemony drink that is mellow
Alcohol sugar zest yellow
Unlike its fruit tree
It's said with a long e
In Sorrento they make limoncello

Making the French Seem Appealing

the darling of the sixties
in Paris making it posh and pretty
enticing her viewers to want to see the Eiffel Tower

Appealing Belles

Ring in the spring,
The bluebells bob
As gentle breezes blow. 
We breathe a sigh
As we know now
There’s no more winter snow. 

The vibrant hue
Against the green
Bathes hillsides regal blue.

Nells Is Not Trying To Be Appealing

Nells has no idea how appealing she is.
Not caring about her appearance like other girls.
She throws on a tribal cat suit and lies in a plastic lounger
Reading a stack of scientific journals.
When she gets up and walks around men notice her curves.
And her bouncy attitude, and her joy
She does not see  her observers at

The Silent Movie

A silent movie 
Maybe silent realistically
Or not silent metaphorically
Silent
Because not verbal
Not silent 
Because with movements
Not silent
Because appealing
Silent 
Because there are no immediate actions
And without man's sympathy
Response and cooperation
A silent story 
May eventually die silently

Appealing

I can feel the sun warming my body and the universe telling me that it is sorry, the clouds are rolling by and the burden is lifted from the sky. The traffic is rolling and the birds are signing the people are dancing to the music in the town. It is the music I want

I cannot find my contest poem

Alas, my first thoughts I cannot show em!

I scrawled down notes when preparing dinner -
perchance they fell in Tiddles litter tray
as my loose leaf pad is so much thinner.
