I am married to the soul
I live in sweet sin
I always say good morning
I always say good night
I send them telepathically
If they don't come by write
So if your heart starts ringing
The phone call is from me

The onset of sleep tiptoes in as a most silent whisper.
God blows it into ears of both him and her.
We have deep kaleidoscopic dreams that give us rest.
With no music on, just our gentle hearts beating against our chests.
Some give their souls to God for safe keeping.
They are unlike sad others who go to bed weeping,
We thank God for His generous blessings this day.
And place our poetic headsupon soft, creative pillows without delay.
We are thankful for the poetic hearts who touched us across the miles.
Our eyes, now closed, we see their loving, beaming smiles!

I casually wonder
as I tuck myself snugly into bed
the lights turned off
I wonder what does one do
on a day like today
up there beyond our realm and universe
rid of the burden of an aging body
what does a spirit do
to while away the time
tell me, dear

Leave the past in the past walk without fright
This beautiful day is coming to an end
I hope you made great memories with your family and friends
Go to sleep with gratitude and silently pray
That tomorrow will be an even greater day
And as you start out each morning always know
That the more you learn the greater your mind will grow
Good night sweet angels I hope you feel very proud

I kiss your little toes
I kiss your little dimples
on your cheeks next to your nose
it is twilight time sweet baby
lay back and close your eyes
