all these freebies are sugar coated chains a modern-day slavery
a sparkling glazed sheen
sunshine on my windowpane
noonday blooms below
goldfinch bush and tree
are awash in dazzling light
as pale sunbeams dance
How do you prefer bad news
Sugar coated
Or
Not at all
As
Ignorance is bliss
I saw the world different today as I looked through your eyes.
How differently we perceive things as you sugar-coat your lies.
Your vision was filled with adventure as that's how you like to roll.
Never stopping to consider about the hearts that you stole.
You see women as an object and you charm them to the core.
Knowing all too well your intentions leave alot to answer for!
But just remember one thing, one day you'll be old and alone.
And all the hearts you burnt will have found a love thats grown.
Your looks will have faded and your charm has worn away.
And who wants a lonely old man who's never one to stay?
You've heard the word companion and I'm sure you know the depth.
That friendship has certain boundaries and is more than just Sex.
Honesty and loyalty are qualities to admire.
You'll always be remembered as unloyal and a liar.
I know I'm far from perfect and I have my faults too.
But I'll never be branded a liar and I'm loyal, unlike you!
falling fast
.. and hard
drifting in the winds
blind-sided
this innocence
quickly finding ground
beneath the blankets
of sugar coated truth
as it lies at my feet
erasing the shadows
and my steps
down that path
Bus scribble
Sugar coated dreams
Oh what does it all mean
Let me take you on a magical ride
Way deep into the sky
When we reach the top
You won't be asking why
Baby, you're as sweet as apple pie
You stole my heart
Showed me how to cry
You never talk out of place
Or try to pry
Your words pure as silk
You could never bring yourself to lie
You're that special gleam in my eyes
You're the one who always seems to try
Won't you join me upon a star
I promise you I will never go far
You're the candy in my jar
Won't you be sweet on me
My honey bee
So we might see
Our love live free
As the air, we breathe
When we receive Gods blessing
We weave our souls as one
When we place our faith in God
Then, sweetheart, we have both won
Together we will learn laugh, and run
Our life so full of light
You make all this feel so right
No way will I let any of it come undone
You're the one
Who brings the most fun
My honey bun
The day for the love if this was every day not love for the day
You’re a liar and a cheat
Just like a dog on heat
You lurk behind a cobweb thin disguise
and try so hard to fool the guys
But I’ve seen the way you try play the field
You’ve tried your best to manipulate me
Listen up honey, I’m not blind I clearly see
But I’ve got used to your patronising ways
I won’t take any more of your crap
I’m gonna start to answer back!
You’re a liar and a cheat
Just like a dog on heat
You lurk behind a cobweb thin disguise
and try so hard to fool the guys
But I’ve seen the way you try play the field
You tried to treat me like a fool
Broke many hearts, broke every rule
But sugar you can no longer deceive me
I’ve got my eye on you and note everything you do
Hope I’ve got that message clearly through to you

Living in a world of black and white
She stood with fire in her eyes
One of the few who understood
How life is covered in sugar coated lies
A lot of people are still
Sugar coated on the outside
People think they are so sweet
They hardly ever seen 'em cry
They hide their emotions inside
Broken hearted, lonely and hurt
Feel inside they have died
Nobody knows how they truly feel
They wander aimlessly through life
Giving up all hope for themselves
Never able to see the light ahead
At the very end of the tunnel
They cry out many times for help
Yet people never had seen the signs
Depression is a terrible illness
So many people in the world have
They feel ashamed because of it
Become loners, hide from the world
Feel abandoned at times
If only people knew how depression kills

You have me trapped in your sweet web of desire
Wanting you so bad my heart races and my skin transpires.
Thinking of you with a lust that pulls me closer as I dream
Into all of your warmness, that embraces a comfort, like cookies and cream.
A sugar coated thought of what I need and want from you
Devouring all of your goodies, irresistibly mouthwatering, that’s true!
You attract me like a bee to honey, a smell so fragrant to the core
Enticing and luring to your web, like a seduction into a candy store.
Should you believe whispered lies
That my character malign…
The gossip melts in your mouth
With each sugar sprinkled line
Should you doubt my innocence
Spread rumors that are untrue
You’ll stand at God’s tribunal
And He'll make demands of you
Still waters tend to run deep
But those who erupt convey
The truth that might bring a tear
Their words have no shade of grey
Innuendos poison life
Twisted truth will tax the mind
If you want to keep your friends
Cover ears; turn a blind eye.
