Premium MemberI Am The Night Sky

You are the viola,
And I am your bow,
You are the mountains,
And I am your snow.
I am the song-sheet,
And you are my tune,
I am the night sky,
And you are my moon.

You are my true love,
The love of my life,
My best friend, my lover,
My soul mate, my wife.

Just is as your presence in my life
My desire to be your wife
Is a beautiful song that my heart, sings
You bring love, heart of love you bring
My heart beat the missing pieceI am your sweet
That makes me whole and the love that sets my soul on fire
My only one desire Holy Hallelujah

Premium MemberKeats, the entertainer

My uncle’s name is Keats.
He eats all kinds of sweets.
This habit, his caring wife hates
Saying that his sugar levels it dilates.

One day one of his friends visits his house,
Hands over a box of sweets to his spouse.
To have one from it he tries,
This, his wife strongly denies.
Secretly he looks for them like a mouse.

He opens the lid of every container.
Oh, he is such a perfect entertainer.

She tries to hide sweets from his sight.
And thinks what she does is quite right.

Premium MemberSweet William

Sweet William There once was a man, smelt like a trash can ‘Til came the day the dreadful fray began Wife said she would leave And find a new squeeze Who smelt as delightful as Sweet William. The man said nothing, but thought all the more Afraid that the wife would show him the door He took a good scrub In a hot bathtub Then scent of roses poured from every pore. He pleaded “forget Sweet William, please do” “I smell wonderful for you now, it’s true” She had a huge laugh At his daft remark As ‘twas in the garden Sweet William grew.

Premium MemberMy Cousin Sweet Bea

I am on top of the world said my cousin Sweet Bea
She was every bit as creative as I knew her to be.
I have tamed an ostrich and we are on the go.
On which planet we land, who will ever know?

We fly through the night among the planets and stars.
You could never again coax me to drive those plain cars.
I am on top of the world, and I love my life.
I will never be tied down to be anyone’s wife.

Premium MemberLittle Sweet Faerie Toad

Little Sweet Faerie Toad was carrying the princess queen elect.
The rest of the fey stayed in the way to courtesy and genuflect.
LSFT was having a fit, but internally, so to not alarm his guest.
He finally got her to her coronation, the ultimate toadlike test.

The Princess Queen was grateful. She left LSFT a big tip.
He was excited, and went on a cruise, a pleasure trip.
Wife asked, “now wasn’t it worth it?” and he smiled big.
They are still on vacation – heading to an archeological dig.

Premium MemberSweet, Short Note

Patrick was well-behaved in school
He followed every single stupid rule

He studied hard and earned top grades
All his friends knew he had it made

At college, he planned and plotted who to friend
Elected President of his class in the end

He entered the coroporate world on a roll
CEO of Trans-Oceana Corp. his only goal

By the way, Patrick took a wife
Lived the absentee-husband suburban good life

Then one fine day Patrick made CEO
He hurried home, the wife and kids to show

But on the door was taped a note, sweet and short
'We've had enough, stranger. See you in court!'

Premium MemberHot and Sweet

On a cold, snowy night, Ted’s wife said, “Let’s go share something hot in our bed.” Lying ready, he waited for his lust to be sated. They had rich, sweet hot cocoa instead.

To David

The day that I met you it was a surprise
to meet at the rest stop on a late Saturday.
I knew we were good by the look in your eyes
hearing without you even having to say.

You worry there is someone else in the wings
who may someday take your place in my life.
Deep down I hope your big heart only sings
with the faintest idea that I might be your wife.

Being together has been a great gift
that God gave us both to enjoy.
I see it but only as my sorrow does lift
Knowing you are a sensitive boy.

I look to the future with more joy than my pains
Knowing that our love will never feel any strains.

Premium MemberSweet Jesus

Sweet Jesus
I call on you for guidance
So we may follow in your footsteps
Every hour of every day

I’ve chosen a man
To love for the rest of my life
He has chosen me to be his wife
And, Lord

We have such faith in our hearts
And such desire to be truly loving
We ask you please to watch over us
And light the way should we ever stray

Here we lay entwined to sleep
never more our souls to weep
and if the angels come for you
I'll beg the lord to take me too

For I believe He knows, as you
life without you just won't do
so let us end as we started our life
together forever as husband and wife

Sweet Sixteen
by Franklin Price
1/1/2016

Sweet sixteen is finally here
and sixteen minutes in
If I waited to write longer
Would be too sleepy to begin

It's eight sixteen I went to bed
At the ending of verse one
Watching the bright ball drop
Was tiring but fun

My wife said if you stay up
You're as crazy as a loon
You can finish in the morning
If you awaken before noon

As you see it's not near noon yet
And I really must confess
Did not mean to write about myself
But New Year's greetings to address

Happy New Year to you
To your friends and family
Hope this year is awesome
Hope it's the best that it can be

May your road in life be paved and smooth
May peace and love abound
And at the end of sweet sixteen
May we all still be around

Premium MemberMy Dear First Wife Linda

This is a message for my dear wife Linda You left me much too early Wanted to grow old together with you But it wasn't to be sweet girlie Snatched from me in the prime of our lives Fairness didn't come into play Only a few years left till our golden years Suddenly my life's in disarray Life has a way of coming up with surprises Some are great, some hard to bear Always held hope we'd always pull through But life doesn't always play fair So now I'm forced to roll with the punches Dear Cathie has helped me through Might not have made it, through this very sad time If it wasn't for sweet loveable you © Jack Ellison 2015

Premium MemberBetter Than a Plentitude of Pies

Jack Ellison's a cutie pie, his words are yummy sweet
Each time I read a lovely rhyme, I get a tasty treat

Pie poems for my every mood, I just can’t get enough
Cherry, lemon, and berries too, all really scrumptious stuff

Jack Ellison's a lovely friend, he sweetens up my life
If he comes a visitin’, I’ll bake pies for him and wife

I make lovely crumb apple pie, with ice cream it’s divine
I’d sure pamper Jester Jack and Cute Cathie up just fine

So here I’ll end my silly rhyme by saying this…no lie
I love to eat his words all up, I love them MORE than pie!

Premium MemberI Got It

I Got It

The eternal and beautiful love you cast into my soul!
the gentle ways you heal my worries and cares
The loving heart you gave , letting me think I stole!
purity as white as Spring's sweet love renewing airs

So many joys and nights of pure deep loving thrills
words whispered in madly passionate haste
Love's sweetest milk drank with never any great spills
love's food consumed with never any waste

The devotion that inspires me to deeply love again
to run ahead yet again without any dark fears
To believe, to say sincere prayers ending with Amen
to feel joy so deeply my blue eyes flood with tears.
