FireflyingThrough dusk’s shadows they soar,
flickering evening lights,
flies flashing cold fire,
bugs unleashing lightning,
micro-luminescent,
miniscule miracles.
Though fainter than candles,
clustered firefly flocks
flash brighter than stars
in summer night skies,
sparking joyous wonder,
fluttering till sunrise.
In our darkened world,
can we shine like them,
glimmering in the gloom,
gifting goodness and hope
for all those who grieve
until a new dawn?

FAITH IN GOD WHOSE WORKS ARE GREATJuly 5 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Psalms 111-114
Key Verse – Psalm 111:2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
FAITH IN GOD WHOSE WORKS ARE GREAT
God Whose works are great keeps us triumphant
Always driving our faith to be vibrant
While we seek His...

Eternal bliss
Trapped in the illusion of temporary gratification,
No one looks in the mirror for clarification.
Delighted with just inappreciable things,
Who knows? The soul seeks eternal bliss.
Imagination is surrounded by beauty.
Nobody thinks of the flip side's shoddy
Running around beautiful things,
Without thinking of real wings,
Will you find in it eternal bliss?
Eternal beauty finds its source in gods,
Not in the...

A String Of ThoughtsIf all is of mind, then what are we doing?
Physical life, is it worth pursuing?
So discouraging, so immature,
How can mere man, ever endure?
The mind can think in such jubilations,
Creative thoughts giving sensations.
We rush to create, with no time to spare,
No patience displayed; we do not dare.
Take our time, uncertain as it seems,
Let thoughts mature manifesting...

A Rainbow, A Promise, A GiftA promise from God, his sign in the sky,
Never again will all unjust men die.
A rainbow appears as His sign to man,
Water will not cover all of the earth’s land.
He’ll not with water, wash all life from earth,
Because of our sins or our lack of worth.
He offers His gift of eternal life,
And gives us the...

Liberation step 3light imbibed must be assimilated
present always in active cognition
when awareness is not agitated
God’s love and light is our heart’s emission
unbroken then remains His transmission
poised as such liberated while alive

Liberation step 2observe habit patterns that bind
exerting a compelling bind
from which if we wish to be free
befriend silence, with love aligned
awareness free from our mind tree
ambles gently through life carefree
detached yet vibrant and alive
soul with laws of God does agree
sipping nectar from heart’s bliss hive
with no need to struggle and strive
detached from outcomes we...

Liberation step 1Heart empty, we invoke bliss magnetism,
not imbibing but becoming the flame,
which fully illumines mind-body prism,
after which we are no longer the same,
reclaiming light of Self, in life’s end game.
Nodes within stir and all boundaries blur ~
With laws of God, we willingly concur...

Unworthy, Yet Blessed“Blessed are the poor in spirit”
I am broken by my pride and arrogance
How should I ever see the kingdom of heaven
“Blessed are those who mourn”
My sins and offenses are innumerable
Why would I deserve comfort
“Blessed are the meek”
I struggle with anger and aggression
What makes me worthy of any inheritance
“Blessed are those who hunger and...

Beyond the GossipThe world demands identity—
a name, a face, a history.
But in its grip, you lose your way,
and shame is what they make you pay.
They drag your truth into the light,
then twist it wrong and call it right.
They dress you up in guilt and fear,
then whisper lies for all to hear.
A penny for your soul, they say,
to...

Truth(inspired by Jeanette poem)
Truth is sort of like a fabric,
can be woven and unraveled;
stamped and rubbed out;
indelible to the spirit while
unread – what is Truth! If
immovable it is not alive – Truth
is what gets us into tomorrow,
and compels us not to stay there --
Truth is journey back to conscious
oneness with God --
Man,...

Spiritual Gem Inside
A gem more precious than gold
A supreme treasure in this world
Its brilliance is hard to see
No one, not even you or me.
It’s in my soul’s fathomless deep
In profound reflections creep
I feel its ardor love in silent hymn
I hear its voice as I speak to Him.
A calming balm that heals, peels
Its passionate scent pacifies, reels
A fervid...

The One WithinThere is a silent visitor inside you now —
softer than fresh-baked bread,
more precious than gifts from wise men of the East.
A second heartbeat,
gently echoing beneath your own.
You carry more than a name.
You carry memories yet to be made,
a mirror of past souls,
a vessel for tomorrow’s joy.
So walk gently,
eat wisely,
rest fully.
That bottle of cider —
it whispers...
