Heywah

Any god that creates beings to serve them is a slaver and a robber, and therefore a false god.
Surely deep within the heart of humankind, lays a God of grace, freedom and love.
That watches and sees all and where possible expounds it's grace, freedom and love,
through and to those who are receptive. This is the one true God.
This great God of grace, freedom and love whom I shall simply call She,
does not require sacrifice, does not create servants or slaves.
She is the infinite source of all and simply gives of her wealth freely,
to any one who will accept her, She alone is Almighty, Most High, I AM.
I love Her.
From Her comes life and to Her it returns.
From Her comes love and to Her it returns.
She is the foundation and the source of all things.
She is eternal and everlasting.
When we surrender fully to Her, we become Her and yet in losing ourselves we become ourselves.
Heywah. Selah.
It's not about obedience, servitude or slavery.
It's about co-operation, grace, freedom and love.
Love is a gift that is meant to be given and in giving the more becomes the greater. Selah.

Deepest feelings

Let me express my complete emotions
Give all to him who's vast as earth's oceans
He’s handsome and slightly tall
He’s my up lifter whenever I fall
If I can’t spend my days with him on earth
Tell me what’s my life really worth
I’m willing to show him the worst of me
That’s how an undying love should be
He’s my soul-mate for eternity
Together we can embrace this journey of life
With endless sincerity
I love him from the bottom of my heart
And no-one can break us apart
This love of ours will never perish
He’s the man I’ll always cherish
In this world, I may never find
Another man like him who’s one of a kind
I want to give him my all
But words are not enough to say
I rather show him how I feel in every way.

Lonely and Lamentable

I was once a kid,
Trying to be rid
Of the thoughts of awful feelings inside
And consuming last minute pride

I was living life by chance
I danced the dance of love enhanced
I was giving up true romance
I danced the fancy dance and pranced

I sung the lonely song of lament
With tears building up in my eyes
I lost a lung, singing loud and confident
I can see the truth behind your lies

Denied the fact that I’m still in love with the hatred
You put me through along with unnecessary dread
Instead, don’t even call me on my cellphone
Because I’ll be fighting this battle alone

You picked a bone with me
You screwed me up with ecstasy
You threw a brick at my tree
You’re barking up the wrong envy

I’m swallowing this sea of shimmering shame
Blame me for your wretched wrongs you’ve done
Is what you have done with my horrid heart flame
I came undone in your arms and we had our fun

I’m a jar without its lid
You tried so hard to bid
Me a farewell and oh well
If I told you to go to hell

Book are Precious

Come
Sit,
Spend time
Taking good care
Of the friends you have,
Holding space for memories of books.

Come hither and read your favorite books together,
Enter the library of ideas
Following your heart,
Allowing stillness
And
Delve.

Summers

Sweet gone you
Miss your flowers and flora
Call me again needs you
Your energy was
Beautifully vibrant
Can heal my wounds surely

Premium Member Deep Water

Some life events have forced me into deep water,
and I reached out for my hand of protection.
Until that day life had seen me as a squatter,
the hand that I sought wasn’t one of rejection.

I wasn’t knowledgeable of correct words to say,
my prayer that day, was Lord, save me a sinner.
He altered the heart that earlier was as clay,
placing in me the heart of a new beginner.

Since then I’ve been forced to sink or swim,
when issues were causing my life to fade.
On each occasion when all hope looked grim,
in faith believing my life would be stayed.
I can’t do very much, because I’m just a man,
but praise God I know the man with a plan.

Dream Within a Dream

This was utterly stunning
Held on the petals tongue
Twisted Machiavellian
Acid rain in neon-lit carmine
Ineffable lyrics: sum41
Grapevine entwined the mead mind
Rapid rhyme mainline propane
Fuse-lit C4-paint-explosives

Interpretation may vary
Melting behind every word
Jellyfish pulsing through
Pushed unexplored avenues
Stork dropping off an award
Blues scale toward the top
Fingertips slide without warning
Solo-bass drop within drumsticks

Dripping water from a flask
Walking hexes cloudy dishes
Mirrors fractured pieces whirling
Framing fractal front seats
Past mistakes remembrance
Olive branches infect organs
Pulse systematically
Pixels dissolve surfaces
Birthing surreal fantasy

Frozen in Time

Frozen in Time

For seventy years and counting,
Every photograph and every newsreel,
Every home movie and every video,
I feature distantly frozen in time.
Millions if not billions of images,
I am invisible but none the less there.
Yes, I am seen in the family album,
Snapshots of change growing older.
My fascination lies in the background,
Ever present but rarely in sight.
Lurking in the shadow of others,
Is this too deep, what does it mean.

The call

We feel a call sometimes
To be sublime or kind
To think we can find
the right path aligned
With our close knit group, devine
We pass the time pointing at opposite side
Throwing a fit, claiming they're not legit
I submit to a higher power that I've claimed as my own
prone to fits of self righteous rage on a stage of my life
In time i might improve
In time i might remove these moments that blind and misguide me
The only way i see clearly now is to answer the call i feel.

Premium Member Wind Bottled Perfume

Winds of honest scented
insistence glided my wings
through life’s many dramas.
Raw breezes fragrantly
touched my unsure skin
with soothing perfumes
promising my faith was
not errantly consumed.

I thought, go until I had it,
not go until the path quit
without signs I had tried.
I imagined a target future
sat for my eventual,
precisely aimed, bullseye.
That’s a notion I did covet,
even leaned it towards perfect.

If bottled, wind's cologne could
release sachets of peace to
waft serene blends upon and
through times of disquietude.

Premium Member Anxiety And Demons

    With frayed emotions
    the whisperer in the night
    its paper-thin wings
    combating inner demons
    - release your anxiety

    Dejected psyche
    it's not a computer game
    prove the demons wrong
    deny their dark existence
    - quiet with your inner thoughts

Premium Member Om Namah Shivaya

He was calling me through the years.
He sat with me as I cried all my tears.
He was always near by my side,
And now I know it, from the inside.

His face always makes me feel at peace.
He always made my blessings increase.
His essence is growing within my mind,
As I realize to all and myself, I must be kind.

He forgives sins because he understands
All of the differents ways of life in all lands.
He is guiding me now towards the Light,
His essence shall make my soul so bright.

His images, although various, feel familiar,
As though I've known him in past lives prior.
He will be with me my entire life and beyond,
He will gift me a uniquely special bond.

Premium Member black hearts weep, ten dungeons deep

black tears weep
while angels sleep
they're jealous of the light

blessed tears wept
while angels slept
he created the light

black hearts rage
an empty cage
see them hide from the light

bright hearts age
an open page
living inside the light

A good beyond the good

In a given context, when we isolate a situation from a viewpoint where we're standing, that we hold ourselves open to the possibility that there is a good beyond the good that we can perceive with our limited understanding.

Seaside Break

ocean
curtains

torn bed
salt scents

my eyes
rip tide

footprints
shore fixed

water
spiller

seagulls
cry, girl

she churns
the surf
