life of their own
They are obsessed,
possessed by the Word- - - - -
Must follow their
Muse to wherever
it takes them
They can't become
involved with
Worldly endeavors
They are always on call
Keep their emotions
calm, in check
Have a sharp focus
as to what they're doing
Must maintain poise
and a clear head
Poetry is their passion
It keeps them 
nourished and well fed
with

Your Majestic Love

I miss you with a longing never seen before 
There’s nothing I wouldn’t give to be with you 
If I was able to hold you once again 
I’d kiss you with a passion that’s deep and true 

I’d hold you as close as I possibly could 
And your soft lips I would gently kiss

I've finally reached it
What I'll call the end
A volume of poems
For my special friend
A thousand that took me
Three years to construe
And all of these poems

Sunsets in colors so bright

During those big snowstorms
