In the UK it's 3am in the morning and I should be asleep. My sleep pattern and daily routine has gone crazy since the onslaught of Covid 19. Daily lives all around the world have changed beyond recognition and it possibly may never fully return to the old normal. So, I'm typing away to pass the time and hopefully drift off to sleep, I have written 2 poems of thoughts in my head and called one Climbing the Walls and one for the wildlife entitled Where have they all gone. Please check them out, regards to all and stay safe.

Kevin, you are not alone, here in Canada, I am restless too, I want to go out and enjoy the Spring scenes but we are not allowed in parks or forests, I may have to go to a cemetery, hopefully they (the government) have not closed them. I am getting lots of nightmares and wake up at 3am, not sure why that time but always 3am, and do silly things like laundry and housework, paint or sketch, and sometimes write a poem, go on facebook and look at videos, talk to my plants, but today it is bright and sunny although cool, I am planning on going for a walk, I will check out your poems_Constance

On sunny day here yesterday Kevin,on our front lawn,two plump pigeons were seemingly killed thereon(judging by the remains and a carpet of feathers) probably by a pair of falcons.This ' death in the afternoon' in such a prominent place is because so few cars use the avenue,during this quiet lockdown,and with no children to and froing to school,an upside therefore for wildlife in an urban afternoon.

Such an event has happened in our back garden,a few times previously unnoticed on a winters morn,but only one pigeon,not two together,in broad daylight in a mid afternoon in the front and eaten there and then and not as a 'take away ' !! We of course missed this 'going on' as we we taking our nap indoors just feet away from this cycle of nature .
