My Favourite Animal of the Wild

My Favourite Animal of the wild

My Favourite Animal of the wild,
Has majesty and supreme presence.
Most magnificent creature ever seen,
Stealth and gun, Man’s only defence.

Splendour, grandeur power and strength,
Poacher strikes for Witches potion.
One day Jungle Lord will be no more,
So hard to comprehend this notion.

Days are short ‘fore your extinction.
Tiger Tiger, hunter of the night,
Largest most precious of all Cats,
Protect yourself; stay out of Man’s sight.

Robert Pettit May 13, 2018 at 6:08 PM Reminds me of the 2000 rupiah coin minted for Indonesia back in 1974. The Java tiger depicted on the reverse unfortunately could not be saved from extinction. Good write.
