My Guide Above
My eyes open and my
focus finally sets
I feel the rise and lowering
of my chest
A slow breath in and a slow
breath out
I know I'm alive without a
shadow of doubt
I say each time to GOD above
thank you for your mercy & love
You granted me another day
upon this earth
I'll trust in you because I
know your TRUE WORTH
You gave me life without a
shadow of doubt
That to me is more than
ANY monetary amount
I follow your path you have
written for me
You are my guide through
this life's amazing journey
For where ever I go and
whatever I do
I know in my whole being
that it was scheduled by you
Thank you GOD for ALL that
you do in each and every way
That's what gives me my
strength to make it another
day
