Two Boys of Tibet

Two boys of Tibet

There was a young boy of Tibet
Liked Swimming, but not getting wet
He said he would try
To swim when it’s dry
What a silly young boy of Tibet

Another young boy of Tibet
Had a Snowman he kept as a pet
That’s abominable said I
Yeti, couldn’t see why
Elusive was that Boy of Tibet

Kevin, this is a very amusing limerick - well done!! It definitely provided several chuckles, so your use of the form was effective. I especially like how you tied together "Snowman", "abominable", and "Yeti" (love your use of this one as a surrogate for "Yet he"!) in consecutive lines in your second stanza without it seeming contrived. Nice! :) Bartholomew

Very clever! And it's nice to read something pertaining to Tibet which isn't monkish, but rather 'monkey-ish.' Keep those limericks coming! Here's to humor and some good yuks! --Gershon

Very clever, both! I admire what I cannot do - create limericks! I bet you have a knack, some people certainly do when it comes to limericks. Keep it up (I hope), they are very entertaining, just as the two above. A joy, Keven, and a giggle. Blessings ... CayCay
