Lost

There’s a missing piece.
A hollow inside of me.
Where there was once warmth.
It’s empty.
I don’t know who I am,
What I’m supposed to do,
Or how I’m supposed to act.
Without you.
There’s anger and confusion.
Desolation, pain.
Bewilderment and loneliness.
It’s unfair, it’s insane.
I smile, I say “I’m okay”.
It’s untrue,
I take it one breath at a time.
I’m lost. Without you.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
