Desert Walk

Desert Walk
I long to take a desert walk,
Where stunning violet shadows stalk,
And high-flying eagles circle my way,
Curious about what I will say..
Silhouetted in a streak of red,
My feathered friends know no dread;
Awash in the sunset of Georgia O’Keefe,
Soon to find their perch to sleep.
