Trevor

His face is scruffy and he smiles, Trevor has been gone a while He’s been reported missing for days, I peer and longingly anxiously to play. Tears drain down swollen chaffed cheeks, Lying in my bed there is no relief. His face was smug and warm but he coyly smiled, Trevor has stolen his freedom awhile One day my Trevor may weep as I do, For he loved freely over hills and was lost, I dream at this computer alone and must cry, Missing Trevor, my cherished lost guy.

Hello Sunlite … very sad situation indeed for anyone whose loss has no ending. No matter what, if there is no conclusion the search continues within the mind - thank you Sunlite - Lindsay

To all who commented, "Trevor" is in honor of all lost fictional Trevors. I was reading a post of lost dogs, and hoping, like you, that they would all be found.

Ah, very much fun. I am diving in for another read. Pondering what I missed because I was lured to the end so quickly by the fast paced feel of this one.

Oh my goodness. So sad Sunlite. I hope Trevor comes back soon. It reminds me of my older cat who went missing a long time and miraculously was found. I wish you the best :)
