Rambling

Rambling The psychology of a broken car Has curled my heart with fear, Will I have courageous life in my heart again, But day after day with the sickening world I wait, gift card in anxiously sweating hand. For now I am quarantined who knows how long, With naught to entertain but share my dog, With whom I have found unexpected pleasure. I would like so to give to you though her joy as the poet said The World has gone mad three feet from where you stand. A truck sits outside for innocence that barks, With innocence that knows no virus, And bed with covers stirred caring not and morning hot, Only that you pass our days into blowing blue skies.
