Changes of Age
Changes of Age
No longer do we go out at night,
Where there are dancers dancing,
Nor did they forget the music.
No longer can we love the silver -
Silver laps of a splashing lake,
While we hug closely with
Your strong arms across my shoulders.
No longer do we go out at night,
But that we look into each other’s smiling eyes
And lie side by side in the moonlight.
