Romanticism

I think you are right. We can strive for balance, come close, but balance is a moving target. Never in the same exact place twice, nor are we, the same persons. Aging. Health. Changed emotionally daily. By good and trauma. All in eternal flux. We strive toward ideals, or what has worked before, but new adjustments are always necessary. In a way, sort of like making new relationships with those we already have lots in common with. Love. Trust. Getting close to balance, near enough to say, in balance, the best we can manage is important. Being totally human is perfect enough for me. Physical/spiritual.

Hi CayCay; so nice to have you stop by. I think the last line sums it up. Sort of like, the actor plays to the audience... The Heart plays to the Heart. Truth, right or wrong, are often overruled by feelings. As far as the meaning of the beginning: some just live, outright always, and some only write without hands-on experience. Pure instinct vs deep soulful reflection. Best, in my opinion, is a balance of the two. Reasoning there is a spirit reality which can be overshadowed if too deeply enveloped by the physical. Maybe I could have said it better. I am never finished with a poem. Some left as is, while others go through many revisions over the years. Have a great writing weekend my friend.

I agree. For me the heart is the most important. Right or Truth, will never bring rest or satisfaction, if the universe explored is all mental, and does not reflect the actual experienced journey of one's own heart.
