Attachment Poems

Why did we stop talking?

How… how did it get like this?
Why… did we stop talking?
After a time… I stopped trying.
You… you… you were very tired to try.
No one did.

And… a friendship… that… no one acknowledged, but we acknowledged—
now doesn’t exist.
Exists… but…
I’m not the same person you talk to.

It was not love.
It was attachment to a person.
That laugh… that conversation…

attachment

i try and paint you in a bad light inside my head
to create a reason to get over you but no matter how hard i try
all i can think of is you
you consume my mind
take control of my speech
i will always drift back to you no matter how hard the universe can rip

DEEP RUN

Run it deep, run you words through me,
You make me feel right, I still recognize myself to be the wrong guy cos I'm still in doubt.
The sky is bright in the dark, o my god look at that,
Aren't you the reason for bright days and night that I have?
Making me to relax, feel good and

Attached to Childhood

The threads we weave in the early years
Define the ties that hold our fears
Attachment forms, a hidden thread
Guiding the paths where we are led

Some reach for love with open arms
while others guard with quiet alarms
The past, it molds the way we love
A blueprint written from above

My paper seeks to lift the veil
To understand

strings of attachment

strings of attachment sew themselves -
weaving the threat of romance
into a blanket that offers no comfort

statements of detachment form mantra -
reconcile the strings to the scissors
without making a cut

carve instead into the flesh
whatever you have to
let blood warm what the blanket cannot
remind yourself -
unfettered and ephemeral
is the nature of pleasure

Attachment

Love is not a word I’m familiar with.

I like to read a book by the fire
with hot cocoa or tea
fairies or dragons
the sound of crackles pulls me away
into a space of inspiration and comfort.

Yet I don’t believe that I love it
My like only goes so far

I like the food my mom prepares
with noodles

Premium MemberTo Whom It May Concern

O those ignorant of the path to God
don't carry on about less than a dog.
There’s so much to be gained in youth
so get yourself interested in the truth.

If some stranger were to say to you
certain words that proved to be true
would you hold onto them and pray,
regardless of whether it was today?

You brood over too

Premium MemberThe Paradox of Desire

Drugs come in all shapes and sizes
But the essence is the same
Providing a something we feel lacking;
A hit of pleasure and fulfillment
In instant gratification.

The problem then becomes one
Of cascading cause and effect
As the short cut route
Undermines self-esteem
As we know in our hearts
We are a thief, living a lie.

The drug expresses in the extreme
This paradox of

Good that it just means I yearn for attachment

While I deleted all my socials,
why have I just installed one to look what her favorites are?
I swear I should have just leave it and let it stay in deleted.
I am not meant to use such things,
I always won't stop what other people might think.

Because when I saw that he is following her,
both

Alchemize of an Attachment

To alchemize an attachment

Let me sit with it.
 Here comes the fear again.
Why do you care?
Stop imagining people are there.
It's just an attachment, cloaked, trying to make you scared.
They are going to talk about me
Well, there is no proof; that's bad programming. Don't you see?
Let them do what they do if that is true.
So

Close your eyes gently. Breathe deeply and slow.
Take a calm, stolen moment to consider what you know.
Open your eyes slowly. On what do they fall?
You see things all around you. They mean nothing at all.

In every instance, you assign the value of each and every piece.
You give them all the meaning that

LOVE like you DON'T

With no attachments
No possession nor expectations,
Love like you DON'T.

With no demands
No conditions nor Afflictions
Love like you DON'T.

Let them question your intentions
As you allow yourself to settle,
Like a river with no shore.

Like you don't care
Be like a dream,
That fades with no trace.

Ofcourse it's dangerous game
But will definitely let you know
If it is worth a stay,
It will

Love and Attachment: Tales of the Hear

Prem aur moh, do alag raah,
Ek pyaar ka, ek bandhan ka sahaara.
Prem mein hai utsaah, sangharsh aur samarpan,
Moh mein hai moh maaya, bharam aur bhool-bhulaiyaan.

Prem mein hai samajh, saath nibhaana,
Moh mein hai lalach, khud ko bhool jaana.
Prem mein hai vishwaas, niraasha ki jagah,
Moh mein hai andhere, sacchai ki parchaaiyan.

Prem ek amrit hai, jeevan ka suroor

Collapsed Cube

She had won a toy,
for her it was a great achievement,
it gave her moments to enjoy,
and became a piece of attachment.

He dropped her emotions from terrace,
her feelings shattered with the cube,
the day transformed to calaveras,
and the heart was scarred with a grube.
