A Piece to My Puzzle

If love flows smoothly like a river,
As if listening to the melody of a nightingale
And recognise the world and its beauty
Like seeing love and chaos blended.

I can't help but have a sight of a girl,
The important piece to my puzzle
Like she's the most beautiful creation
And as unforgettable as a photographic memory.

Yet I always feel unworthy of her love
And my heart is locked in a cage,
But I feel empty without her love
And how long can I love her dearly.

It might drive me crazy
That she gives me butterflies,
But I always try to run away from it
As if I knew it deep from my heart.

Premium Member The Price of Loans

Her suffering was her currency as she would trade in sympathies among a band of devils driven wild by their needs to be possessed and to possess in a world seldom fair being built in complications simple heads never seem to ever understand and.

She was Magnificent.

They way she tore me down. Only one other thing had ever hurt me more.

Premium Member My Fair-Haired Maiden

Fair maiden with the locks of molten gold,
Whose gentle grace doth make the sun seem dim,
No earthly treasure that the heavens hold
Can match thy virtue, pure in every limb.
Thine eyes, like morning dew upon the rose,
Do awaken all my spirit with delight;
When darkness falls and all the world doth close,
Thy shining tresses guide me through the night.
Sweet lady, let my humble heart draw near,
To tender thee a vow that shall endure;
Through every changing season of the year,
My love for thee abides forever sure.
No fleeting time can fade thy radiant hair,
Nor dim the sweet perfection of thy face;
For God hath framed no creature half so fair,
Nor crowned a maiden with so bright a grace.

Scarcely Yours

And maybe,
After we perish,
We will finally collide
Not bound by destiny,
But rather by the specks of dirt we're buried beneath.

They say,
Togetherness is contagious,
But Infirmity never claimed me
For our flesh had remained strangers to one another.

We never shaped the lives we dreamt of.
We forgot to be while becoming.

Yet,
In the core of the earth,
somehow, we find each other,
Tangled in the asthenosphere.
it's the only thing we share;
Death, dirt, and desire.

We were never each other's in life,
Yet the earth made us one in death.

My Chaotic Heart

Why is my heart always full of chaos?
As if it meant to stay in a cage,
Thinking it will come to pass
And filling my mind with a unwritten page.

A rush of sweet dizziness conquer my heart,
It always makes me to run away
Like trying to make a piece of art
But it seems my love wants to fade away.

The days and years are my witness,
As if asking the Lord who I am
I don't know how my feelings need your warmness
Hoping you see just as I am.

Premium Member Perfect In Every Way

Is what we have all too good to be true?
Is it too much I want to always be with you?
Our love reminds me why I shall carry on through.
Your voice, your smile free me from feeling blue.

Am I really unfairly expecting too much,
When I say I always need to feel your touch.
As much as I want you here every day and night;
A weekly basis makes us fonder, so it's alright.

Is what I feel for you, what you feel for me too?
Are you the one for me, and am I the one for you?
I realized you're the one my soul was waiting for.
I just hope you also feel we have met before.

Am I right to feel we are the same rays of light?
Am I right to feel I cannot insult you in any fight?
Is it too much if I say you're perfect in every way?
For me, you are my safe harbour in life's bay.

Premium Member I Was Looking... For You

Through life, I learnt things about you so much.
Through your faith, God and I got more in touch.
Only shortly after meeting you, did I finally realize
Loss of former loves was a blessing in disguise.

Through life, I was learning, yearning, dreaming.
I recall dreams: it seems it was you I was seeing.
Before you, I was missing something, someone:
I never knew what, until our first date was done.

Through life, you were taught and loved very well.
Due to your faith, God empowers you with a spell.
After you had learned we are of similar mind,
You took a chance and realized I am also so kind.

Through life, you stayed loving despite betrayal.
You don't have to be alone holding in every tale.
You were looking for something you lost long ago.
I was looking for you, so I will never truly let go.

Moon, Come Out Soon

In grand lehengas, women gather beneath the waiting sky,
Thaali in hand, their hearts filled with faith and love.
Their voices rise together in melodious bhajans,
A chorus of prayers carried softly into the night.
The day has passed in fasting, patience and devotion,
Now every eye searches for the moon behind the clouds.
For the moon is the long-awaited blessing of the night,
The silver signal that turns fasting into feasting.
Slowly, the clouds drift, hiding and revealing its glow,
Testing the patience of women dressed in festive splendour.
Then, little by little, a white ball of light appears,
A milky diamond glittering in the dark sky.
The thaalis shimmer, the prayers grow softer,
And love waits for the moment of breaking the fast.
A little water, lovingly offered by the husband's hands,
Becomes a sip of affection, faith and togetherness.
Gifts follow, smiles bloom, and prayers turn into gratitude,
For a husband's long life and a marriage filled with love.
Moon, come out soon—shower us with your pure light,
And bless our married lives with bliss, love and everlasting light.

Premium Member AH, TO BE ROMANTIC

AH, to be romantic
To place a single
Freshly cut rose
In a cup
And place it
On the breakfast table

To stealthily approach
Whispering a “growled”
I love you
On to the back of her neck

To place a “not so Hallmark” card
Seductively
In the grocery bag
For her to find

Oh, but to free
The lunacy of lust
Carouse about the house
Vacuum in hand
As she lifts her feet
While giving you that
“God, I love you Look”

Always remembering
Love is not a past tense word
It is a tension that lives
In the presence of lovers
A binding covenant
Written in the depth of now

Premium Member As You Melt Into Me

        tie me to your tongue
                               as you melt into me.

                ever so softly, my sweet,
whisper my name as you linger
                  in my loving embrace;
feel the warmth of my breath on your face.

chest to chest, can you feel
my heartbeats against yours as we
                 surge through the pulse
             of passion's flickering flame?

        tie me to your tongue
                               as you melt into me.

come closer to me, i implore thee,
let's stay the night under the jealous moon.
as your hungry eyes meet mine,
let me taste heaven in your kiss.

yes, my beloved, kiss me to resurrect
a dormant desire that used to rage
like a hurricane. let our hearts
be carefree as twilight grows feet to run.

        tie me to your tongue
                               as you melt into me.

Our Star

I don't like her
Not hate, I just know I could be better
Obsidian hair falls over her face
Perfectly
Why not me?
When will I be lucky?
Today he is wearing burgundy
His raspy voice tickles so good
Oh! Look...
She is dancing on him
Her existence makes mine so dim
I don't like her

My bag is heavy today
A little shopping you know
Strayed into his set yesterday
I don't know how
We were just meant to be
His cologne smells so good
And no, I am not a creep
It was laying around
I will keep it safe and sound
His vest smells heavenly! Did I tell you that?
Cigarette butt
Whisky glass
Vintage hat
That belt forged from brass...

I can still taste his essence
Don't worry I just put out his cigarette
Protect the environment I guess
 Mrs. Jagger
Makes me kick my feet
Reminiscing future memories
Breakfast in bed
I would give him total servitude
Surely my tarot readings are true
Luck is for the chosen few
I work hard just to...
To be in the same room
And her
He is in my stars
But am I in his?

Do you think I'm crazy?

Premium Member Possibly Real

Strewn with buds upon night’s skyscape ,
we followed the hovel of an outer-world
As fluted leaves
formed a hologram of our map--
a journey granting passage
into real existence;
Where our twin- souls moved in silence.

I felt your hands cuddling a bounty of flowers
And we meet in Portugal
third instance,
Cleansing lost time in holy water.

The procession of candles brushed the air
quite sacred: white lilies unfurling petals
into hundred lights
 on the shrine
of mother Mary ,
while young stars crowned us again...
was it 1918 when our eyes first met here?

Till we strolled through a monolith of statues
blessing our paths ...aligning our thoughts
In the house of Fatima, of transparent gods;
taking our silent vows
with co-owned vintage cameos...

But the vision turns into ripples;
 I’m by myself ,
a lone pilgrim
trapped around a grotto...wondering
if this scene were chimeric illusion
or timeless reality...

How I longingly touch your face,
feeling those sighs , like...
like they were my own earthy breath.

Aries black

Beauty of the African women
Not just the eyes lens
It's colour;
Her lips
Regal neck
Fragile collar bone...
Stunning
Breath taking
Beauty is in the eyes of thy beholder
If you let me
I'll hold you Aries
My eyes will be your mirror
Words can't express
A mere "I love you"
You are much more than I have heard
Much more than you see
A magnificent diamond indeed
Let me hold you ?
Comfort your cheek with my palm
Breaths intertwined
Bodies warmest
Tie me to your tongue my love
Nma my love
Aries black
An ancient beauty
Africa's black woman
The absolute love of my life
Rhythm to my words
Blues in my voice
Words made
Words to come
Words I want to say
Words can't describe you
Words can't show them
