UNLIKELY LIAISON

A hare who was seeking a mate,
Invited a snail on a date.
But, while the hare waited,
A trifle belated,
The snail turned up seven days late

Premium Member A Burden Liaison a Genuine Love-

As genuine love
All so a genuine love
and only if God would allow
could I if you would so allow
 take on your burden all
and your hurts being true
I be with you're not alone
in your suffering be not set apart
ignore and you're wondering may I walk
walk with you and if I may
be so forward
to help you in your burden
 if God also allow
could I be just a helping hand
for I would walk with you in the wilderness
Amiss the dangers as we pray fully wander together alone
Just God the Father Jesus all of us together for Our Father not only sitting on His throne
but He's walking in the desert in the valleys in the wilderness with us also
May I take your burdens from you
So that you burden and suffer no more

Liaison

"Liaison"

All seeing,
one eye watching
isn’t blind

I close mine
then open them,
shut the mind

there’s a certain bad romance
in the all seeing
just being, drags you in

then you get tangled
up in the full clandestine tryst,
liaison with some nebulous King

covert,
the dossier opened
and read,

"la grande histoire d'amour
avec la recommencer étant,
je suis, celui"

an irregular puzzle,
the curious and
the curiouser;

a mystery;
the flirtatious mind
shut out, boggles

(LadyLabyrinth / 2023)

“It is by going down into the abyss
that we recover the treasures of life.
Where you stumble, there lies your treasure.
Whoever fights monsters
should see to it, that in the process,
he does not become a monster.
And if you gaze long enough into an abyss,
the abyss will gaze back into you.”

Premium Member Karmic Liaison

Not friends in the truest
Meaning of the word
But bonded somehow
For some reason
Nothing in common but a past

We hold on to this connection
As if there were a reason

As if our souls
Travelled in the same circles
For many lifetimes
And linger together
For no apparent reason
Almost caught in a magnetic field

But who can say we’re not
Freeing ourselves of a cycle
Working out some karmic debt

A thunderstorm was approaching in the wee hours
The sad phantasmagorical spirit loomed
Beside the emaciated gentleman bed
Was his dead mistress unmistakable contours

The gloomy chamber was the forbidden love nest
For the treacherous and clandestine wencounters
Of the unmentionable vices chained lovers
Until the mistress passed away for final rest

One day when lovers passion was at the highest
The gentleman strangled the lady and buried
The cadaver until one day was unburied
The lady was finally buried for final rest

The nightmares chased the gentlemen during the night
Insomnia was affecting his sleepy hours
Confession of the vile crime ended the rumours
Prisoner of mind and body in the skylight

Liaison

Sadly I’m happy
I worry
From you to me
I shouldn’t have you
And vice versa
You sing me songs
I write to you in cursive
A reluctant curse of mercury
My words
Never purposely hurt you
Champagne glasses
A fence of Vinyl
Our intake of your chardonnay
Too vastly
Becoming more comfortable
With this character
You typecast me as
You take me
You ruin my thoughts
Who’s right
Who’s never wrong
On weathered days we picnic
We voyage the river home
It’s obvious
It doesn’t bother me
But it does
You are all that I was
Seductive
A game seldom played
Lovely
An inspiration
Not welcome in our days
You cry
But I don’t care to focus
You care
But I don’t notice
If I hurt you
You nurture me
Even as my touch
Tortures anything I see
Shall I go on
Melodies and violin strings
Sooth me gone
I miss you
Do you miss me
Tragedians
We’re beautiful
Are you with me
We’re a romance
Yet no one leaves happily
