Emo-Inspired Music Contest Finalized - B.J. Fitz's Blog

Hi all,

I am just letting you know that my emo-inspired music contest has been closed and finalized. I read each poem at least 5 times over the past few days and really struggle ranking them. Some were irrelivent but most were very similar in sucessfully expressing what I asked for. 

I haven't sponsored a contest in many years and chose a poor yet ironic time to do so, as a family member recently tried to kill themself and I have been absent because of that, but it reminds my of why it's important to express ourselves in any way we can.

Thank you to everyone who participated, I will make a point to comment on each entry and explain my decision when I get a chance.

I am very grateful for this community and want to express my appreciation; I wish I could participate more often.
