The Tale

Smiles often deceive—
they stretch across faces
like thin glass, ready to crack.
Dry eyes mean nothing—
pain flows differently,
without tears, without sound.

Scissors and blades
tell stories no one listens to,
etching silent confessions on skin.
A tale unfolds in the quiet—
words unspoken,
hearts unraveling in the night.

But even the sharpest edge
cannot cut through hope forever.
Somewhere, beneath the weight,
a sliver of light waits—
small, trembling,
but still there.
