How can I read when I have no eyes?
No sight to behold
No thought to provoke.
How can I hear when I have no ears?
No sounds to bare
No tone is fair.
How can I speak when I have no tongue?
No lives to swear
No way to dare.
How can I move when I have no limbs?
No direction worth traveling
No path worth riding.
How can I think when I have no thought?
No purpose is clear
No life is here.
AA big mountain, neat poet, and so nice educated person!
You said it was 'simple tommy' a zionist to be.. If you thought Jews should have a homeland..Yet last time i noticed.' Simplicity, did not present to me.' I see it as a convoluted set up.' With con-vid arms
And coups..Subversion and 'deep agendas' drugs human traffiking, an evil stew.' I see there is much vying with some type of a 'cabal' creation of ( b l m ? ) by scoros; hell.! Then there are 'Jews.' For Palestine?' No mention of them ( no show
And tell.?) I just don't see this case as simple.' Maybe I'm not up to date.? Yet I
Just feel to raise a question.' Before all gets 'labelled, as simply' it was just; all in our fates.'
The Lord is the portion of my inheritance
and of my cup thou maintainest my lot.
The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places
yea I have a goodly heritage I will
bless the Lord who has given me counsel
my reins also instruct me in the night seasons
I have set the Lord always before me
because he is at my right hand I shall not be moved
Therfore my heart is glad and my glory rejoiceth
my flesh shall rest in hope!
A smile breaks the ice

Daddy worked the land
To put food in our hand
He worked in the mill
To pay our monthly bills
Lived to be 97 years old
A simple life lived not so bold
Such an intensely rich indulgence.
A cream of so much succulence.
cops come in
crime goes down
it comes right back
when cops leave town
a simple equation
all kids comprehend
but not elites ~

My heart is like apple crumble:
Fragile, warm even when I fumble.
Plants, trees and flowers
Design the wind that causes the dance
Where does it start?
Where does it end?
It doesn’t, it moves from beach to branch
From mountain to lake, from
Flower pedals to a blade of grass
It will carry a new seed of life
To birth a new tree, a flower or a plant
Each changing the direction of the wind dance

How does this writing make you feel?
A single flower died today.
Grew bright yellow petals,
With soft green leaves.
A sturdy stalk,
I was quite pleased.
Slowly the petals faded away.
Leaves twisted brown and crinkled fell.
Stalk bowed and broke.
Faded petals gathered round at the end.
Seed pods sprinkled to start the flower again.
the hearth flickers 'neath a pot
water swirls and tumbles round
dried leaves bloom within the clay
misty cup of calm
simplicity cannot be understated
a persnickety word
pompous and arrogant
she puts on airs
I prefer
simple
I used to look to you,
and saw my baggy
of my darkness
but your humor
and I saw me in you,
never so strangers,
until a facade,
in my deepest
of fears
not of a mirror,
but swollen
eyes
left behind my dangers
and troubling,
fading
and I never wished it.
but those blue eyes
won't so call denial
escapee of the fleet,
of a falling harrowing,
spades so deadly
and
we tread
around
broken
glass....
simple
piano keys,
heart
may
be faster
as you
grow warmer,
with simplicity
And lost,
are
the tones
or estranged
and now dust
are worshiping
at Sunday's mass....
smiles so troubling.
Simple Weight
I dropped my killick deep into the bay,
not made of iron, but of gathered stone,
and a dead branch lashed tight to keep it whole,
to hold me while the tide turned on its way.
It settled in the mud, a simple weight,
where tiny crabs might skitter and explore,
a humble thing to keep me from the shore,
a promise that I would not drift away.
I watched the water's skin grow hard and gray,
and held the breath I didn't know I'd held.
The line went slack at last, a sudden give.
The tide had shifted and the stone broke free,
and somewhere on the bottom, it was lost.
My simple anchor, set for me to live,
had found a place to rest, a final cost.
And I began to move, a slow release,
as currents pushed me out toward open sea.
I left the killick to its endless peace,
and drifted, finally, with no need to live
within the limits I had set for me.
