SIMPLE
The simple red maple leaf floats on the water
The simple tiny purple Aster, blows in the wind
The simple pretty stone, shines in the rain
So many simple things there are to be found
Each discovery simplifies my thoughts
There is no need for there to be a race,
in a life that offers chances to slow down
Stress does not have to rule the day,
when the simple things can wipe it away
There will always be plenty of things to do
As I choose to stop and take the time,
to notice all the presents around me,
I am truly living in a life that's meant to be
