And that is exactly my next contest: Give me what you think a "lemonrick is," based on what you know a Limerick is...ugh...so sick of Limericks (no offense to the limerick-lovers out there...no good or bad in poetry styles, right?) I need some pipin hot lemonricks! Have at it in the replies if you wish... Here's my own example of a lemonrick (its however you interpret it really): I had a jeep named red I had to shoot it now its dead I don't know why I married a Jeep. ----------------------------------------------- And THAT's my lemonrick...now you try!

Sorry folks...my computer went berserk(lol)! Yes, Lemonricks are part of life! I had many Lemonricks cars, and thank God they never broke down on busy highways! I had a lemonrick girlfriend, who used to smoke a lot, and out of frustration, I started to sing, "Smoke gets in my eyes" I was a non-smoker...could anyone imagine my anger? I had to make a decision: either to keep my sanity, or get rid of my lemonrick girlfriend...and I did get rid of her! A lemonrick contest could be much fun, Matt! Thanks for sharing this humorous blog with us. I wish you good luck. Kindest Regards, Andrew.

I hope that you put Lemonrick in the new types of poetry. I wondered what happened to these Lemonricks since I did not find mine in the regular posted poems. I ventured to ask one person that I knew was writing at that time and got the brush off about it. Glad to see you are still around and writing!

PS One LEMONrick now posted..."It's All in the Name. (LOL I'll lay off of the limericks for awhile...just trying to get the funny bone moving in the right direction...not always easy!) Smiles.

Talk about Creative!!! I've been practicing limericks and I'd rather fight than switch! LOL Just kidding...those words are from some old commercial from childhood 45+ years ago since the end of my childhood...Didn't they say it comes back? I gues I forgot! LOL OK, that's enough playing around. Now for the serious business...one LEMONrick coming up! Smiles, Dane Ann

oops--sorry the formatting thing here didn't turn out good-- I'll use the dashes to "enter" my next lines: here goes: Waiting can be such a pain,---------now I have varicose roots, not veins--------------maybe you know I'm dumping you.

hmmm you had me thinking there--perhaps a lemonrick can be some sort of venting instead (heehee the sour things in life)? I've never been successful writing limericks yet (haha I never seem to make it funny) but will try this lemonrick thing: Waiting can be such a pain, now I have varicose roots, not veins maybe you know I'm dumping you. oh well, tell me what you think!
