The Rock

Under dappled light
It waits off a country road,
A short bike from home.

On it rested a boy's world.
Grown up now, my rock I seek.

A strong metaphor for the rock, the foundation on which we build our lives. A most thought provoking write. Congratulations! Brian

Thank you so much. Sitting on this rock felt very spiritual for me. What's fun is I can GPS it to this day. Can't wait to revisit the rock with my kids.
