Divorcee Diatribe

I'm still alive. I'm singing like a swan And my beauty's impeccable. Eight months divorced, Spinnin' is my head Now my kids are separable. Workin' numerous jobs... Now I sound like my Ex, Oh, inexorable. But no more slinging fault. Life tosses lessons So best ride and abide. Go forth with pride. You are the sinner And you are the Saint. Be the the best you can. Believe in yourself despite The weather or demand.

Dear Matt, this is such a heartfelt poem and i can imagine everything that follows with a divorcé etc. i really felt especially the lines “ Life tosses lessons So best ride and abide. Go forth with pride. You are the sinner And you are the Saint.” Life is a journey of learning, and we keep giving our best to ride out the worst. The ending is a great reminder. And yes that should be the plan! Pleasure reading this sincere poem woven from your heart. Sending you light always
