With my girlfriend in tip top condition
To film sex scenes for late television
She got sick in bed
So I went instead
And was heckled with spiteful derision
Well their laughter had made me feel silly
As I stood there butt naked and chilly
They said, “Get a hair dryer,
Or an electric fire,
For you sure need to warm up that willy.”
The director called three naked geezers
Who he said were real audience pleasers
Then he looked at my lot
And said, “Let’s get this shot,
With my new close up lens… and some tweezers.”
Grabbed a sock and ran home in the nuddy
And I tripped in a field, wet and cruddy
But I’d slipped on the sock
So my girl got a shock
When just one bit of me wasn’t muddy
*
That’s my self respect gone for a burton…
Then the morning sun shone through my curtain
I awoke in my bed
“Only dreaming,” I said
But I took a quick peek to be certain

Magic happened on the shore of the Montezuma horizon
Two genies appeared, Mondomay and Mighizeb
Dressed in gauzy dainty chiffon, carrying two cats and a swan
They were a corpulent two, one with brown eyes, the other blue.
What wishes did you have? A new goat, sheep, donkey or calf?
People pleasers all the way, their attention made my day.
Illustrious and lovely, they had suggestions, but kept them hidden.
We are not allowed to share our ideas, even if prompted and bidden.
I told them I would have to think and Mighizeb’s face turned pink.
We might run out of wishes, said Mondomay, as he washed my dishes.
For this had been my first wish, as I despise redundant dishrag swishes.
You wasted a wish! Said my husband Mouse who now lives in his mama’s

Blinded by shining shards of sunlight
reflecting off sandy summer shores,
give pause to wonder what unworldly sight
hides beneath ocean’s watertight doors.
The Sun, father of the shoreline
instructs his lazy children to light the way
for beach combers and bathers-in-the-brine
who worship the Sun and sand as play.
Burned flesh and scorched, fire-red eyes
accost non-believers shaking their heads,
bemused that the Sun’s brilliance belies
affair extraordinaire with the sand he beds.
The Sun and sand a reflective twosome
combining their charms and beckoning
unsuspecting lovers to a garishly gruesome
show of frivolity and a day of reckoning.
In other words:
Sun and sand, such teasers,
conspire to cruelly tempt and torture tissue –
faux pleasers.
Enthusiasts
promising romantic issue –
nets cast.
Beach waltz,
promise anew –
false
Sun and sand, such teasers,
promising romantic issue –
false

A decidedly good morning,
Risen upon the land—yet—
More risen are the eyes and the
Lips that plan to speak blessed things
Mustering out a smile
From a despondent stranger,
As they return the favor
With a gracious compliment
City life bustling in joyous
Productivity—lighthearted humor
Inspiriting the pleasers
And complainers alike
Daylight lapsing—pulling shadows,
Making way for
Memorable evenings,
Dowsed in hospitable company

Here I am pondering on my life
thinking on one's talents so few
but maybe I've more than I thought
consider I may have more than two
The Lord seeks God pleasers
those that will put His glory first
be zealous in learning His truth
that Jesus conveyed since His birth
Oh I wish I could be a God pleaser
doing all this He wanted me to
being clothed with love and mercy
but sinful self stopped me being true
But Jesus gave a special gift
His righteousness freely was mine
for I believed to be in Christ alone
so pleasing the Lord as true vine

I want to write a poem about "come take my hand"
Do I always want you to take my hand?
Yeah but should you?
Sometimes I don't want you to take my hand
And let me fly
Sometimes I just want you to be in the background
and look upon me
Sometimes I don't want you to do nothing at all
You should do whatever you feel like
And not to feel like you have to oblige me, please me
The world is full of pleasers
If I want to be with them
I would have
I just want you - the glorious you
In all its splendor and goofers
Make me laugh, will ya?
But don't make me cry
Unless I want to cry
And at that point I will tell ya
Probably never
But just make me ahhh
That is when I don't know
And that is most of the time
- all the time
That is what I like
And what do you like?

My soul cries out in anguish for the many sins of my flesh…longing to do right, but somehow my flesh desires only to do wrong. My soul and spirit cry out to my flesh to be strong! My flesh longs to be accepted by this world…full with pleasers of the flesh, ignorant to their own immortal souls! I long to pull off all my fleshly parts, to be left as nothing more than skin and bones…then I could immerse both my soul and spirit with the faithful words to God…No more, need to worry Abba, Father! Flesh is no longer here to separate me from your words!

Tall, with long legs, a straight back, and long neck,
Hair falling over both of her shoulders,
Emerald eyes, as attention holders,
Instantly able to put you in check!
Nicely shaped lips, that would welcome a peck,
Forcing your arms to react like folders
And open completely, just to hold her,
Taking a feel of it just for the heck.
Unique is the word that describes her smile,
Aligned with teeth perfectly in a row;
Teasers and pleasers that define her style,
In a way that allows her face to glow.
On most days, I stare at her for a while,
Never In a way that would let her know.

Plaster the walls with mud.
Shake the heavens of the blood.
Bitter tasting and sourly sweet.
Were the feelings that sat at my feet.
Black curtains of faces so torn.
Worrying seems so forlorn.
Tear the tears and tear the tears.
For this is no life to live in fear.
Fear the fairs and fair as to the fears.
Knock down the wall of misery,
And build a bridge to destiny.
Fickle fate brought a tickle too late.
Draw a line to the other side.
Wait for the shadows and soon they will hide.
Pick up the pieces of hints that will be given.
Guiding the wind from sin and all will be forgiven.
Reluctant of hearts too giving.
Seeing the messages of happiness to take.
Pleasers beware and takers dont dare.
Hands and mouths always be there.
Yes to all the answers and no to all the chancers.
Take this sign from fate so true.
Run like the wind and take what was given to you.

Fear causing visceral strain
nausea rises like the moon,
full and vain;
not enough……..
never enough……..
greed without end……….
What more is there to gain?
Choking on the tension,
the pleasers refrain.
Gagging on the longing
the loneliness,
the pain.
No excuse.
No explain.
Rest awhile these aged bones…
in the space between
between one breath and the next
meditation is the thing.
Just breathe and
loose the vise again.

Easy money goes from my pocket,as easily
as a man can climb out of the mouth of a
non moving rocket. My wallet is full of
many non-fluttering moth's,My arthritus
makes me move as slow as a slow
motioned tree sloth! Bang the drum slowly
as slow as sand, traveling down the neck
of an hour glass. I may be poor and i
may be slow, but alas i possess a high
falutin' habitual mannered like class!
Friends i may not have many, but i'll tell
you this-My wallet is held tighter than
o'le dead Jack Benny's! T'would be nice to
win that Power-ball lottery,For if it would
happen,i'd be so much more richer than
that actor by the name of Sean Connery!
Poetry flows from my finger-tips,down to
the o'le computer keyboard,These achin'
joints keep me at bay alot, but these
thoughts just jump up to the o'le
computer screen,Which keeps me
morally happily serene!Poets like to share
their love to good readers, because they
love to show off their powers as audience
pleasers!
