Pleasing God As One Should
Here I am pondering on my life
thinking on one's talents so few
but maybe I've more than I thought
consider I may have more than two
The Lord seeks God pleasers
those that will put His glory first
be zealous in learning His truth
that Jesus conveyed since His birth
Oh I wish I could be a God pleaser
doing all this He wanted me to
being clothed with love and mercy
but sinful self stopped me being true
But Jesus gave a special gift
His righteousness freely was mine
for I believed to be in Christ alone
so pleasing the Lord as true vine
