Confident

You will Never again cause me
 doubt in believing
  Admitting your emotions had
 purpose and no meaning
   Looking closer I understand
  my running
   Going forward and No hope
  Believing
   Amazing people you fake
  care and destroy
   I pray barriers surround your
  false words of friendship
   I am Stronger thank you,
  Your energy gone
   Reward is inner truth and
  more confident

1st Verse:
Our wheel of fortune is ever present
We need to foresee all we resent

We must be our own saviour
At best with our behaviour

Tread lightly amongst greed and corruption
Dont let them be a disruption

Wisdom and bravery never condemn
always aim to illuminate them

Lies and violence bring us to war
Do we ever question what we're fighting for?

Chorus:
Keep the wheel of goodness turning,
Keep greed and deceit ever burning
over a flaming fire
not our funeral pier

Verse 2:
Move the wheel in the right direction
Feel the unity as we instigate correction

Overcome wrong doing as best we know
No waiting to be the one they call hero

March against evil, and tyranny
Eradicate corruption now you see

Create human dignity and kindness.
Honesty and goodness will end their blindness

Poison is spreading over the land
As they move the wheel lend a hand

Chorus:
Keep the wheel of goodness turning,
Keep greed and deceit ever burning
over a flaming fire
not our funeral pier

Letting Go

I No longer look for any contact
Your memory is fading like the past
Dreams we shared once alive
Dreams now give possibilities
Values shape our soul endlessly
Honor yourself and your family and open totally
Dancing with myself is like singing in the rain
Future I welcome with excitement
Fear is exempt
Letting go has saved me
Dreams are my right you see

Premium Member Lost Days

Lost Days

Lost in the darkness
lusting for a way out

Lurking in the blackness
longing for the tunnel
Blinking at the vague emptiness
stirring the hollowness
scaring the shadows

Scattering the darkened clouds
surfing for a ray of hope
Roaring at my doubts
as l map my way home

Premium Member NIGHT DREAM

Occurring disturbances echoing through the mind
Felt asleep
Twist and turn
Dreaming feeling like a nightmare
The midst of danger
The dream of enter
It was a person, train and car
Approaching train
A stop at a railroad crossing
Thought of can make it
Car got stuck in the middle
Train steadily getting closer
What do I do?
Do I jump out the car and run?
Meanwhile the train is coming and coming
I could be killed
Suddenly, the car starts and I pull away
The train passes and there was a getaway
Escape being a blessing
Dream as it would seem
But what does the dream mean?
Immediately woke up
Had drenching sweat
Wondered what did the dream surround?
There was danger, but somehow there was protection
Dream over
Went back to sleep
My soul still to keep.

Premium Member Words of Encouragement

Words of Encouragement

Sometimes you need this from the ones you admire most
The best compliments are from those who are close
High fives can't be given by someone with a closed fist
Commending others isn't something you should resist
Receiving it is like that boost of energy that keep you going
Its a warm sweater when winds of discouragement start blowing
We would never know what a couple of words can do
One day you might need those same words to be used on you
Motivation gives everyone a reason to strive harder or start new
So always give others that extra push with a few lines or two

Premium Member The Shattered Postcard

In remembrance of 9/11/2001

A skyline, once two-headed,
a postcard promise.
I saved it,
that future view,
my feet on the ground,
neck craned back,
in the shadow of steel giants.

They took the dream first.
Not just the view,
not just the towers,
but the postcard, torn.
The future became a past I never lived.

I saw them fall,
and a part of me fell with them.
My anger, a hot fire,
against the smoke,
the dust that buried my dream.
The broke the glass of the window I was looking through,
shattered the symbol,
Left an empty space.

But the broken glass became a mirror.
And in it, I saw us,
not broken, but reflecting.
A million faces,
not shattered, but hardened.
Holding each other up,
in the place where the towers used to be.

The dream changed,
it became something new.
A different kind of strength,
forged in the space where the twin towers stood,
built not of steel, but of spirit.
We were not broken,
we were made stronger.

Dice The Ice

Dice the ice and break the chain,
Shatter the silence and unmask the pain.
Frozen systems guard the throne,
But truth is fire, it melts the ice that turn stone.

Dice the ice of greed and lies,
Cut through the veil that blinds our eyes.
The people’s voice, a storm untamed,
Shall melt the frost of those unnamed.

Dice the ice of fear and doubt,
Tear the old order inside out.
No tyrant’s rule can last for long,
When masses rise, their will is strong.

Dice the ice for to justice flow,
From frozen rivers as new seeds grow.
The dawn is near, the night shall cease,
A nation freed shall find her peace.

The sun will shine

Feeling dead
Nowhere to turn
Dead beat ex
I'm stuck
No way of freeing myself

Finances so intertwined
Like a tumour
Attached to something vital
"We can't operate I'm afraid.
Too risky"

How did I let this happen?
So insidious
So slow
A parasite. Unseen, leaching, infecting, invading, taking, taking, taking.

Eventually, clarity. The alternative.
So often dismissed now better than the present.

But I must pay for my blindness.
I must pay the price for hope.
I cannot be set free
Like a prison sentence.

And, by the way,
Don't bother looking up
Don't pray or ask for divine help.

Help,
If there is any,
Is ground level.
Friends, family, gestures, kind words, hugs, a sympathetic emoji in a motivational text.
You've got this
You are strong
I believe in you.

No choice. Hold tight, wait for better days.
Nothing is permanent.
Lean into the love and the sun will shine again some day.

Premium Member Hopefully

Been walking towards the moon.
I won't be getting there soon
Following to wherever it may lead
Beyond greed
Beyond the need of strife
A simple life
I seek to find
Hate left behind
A heart so kind
Cause I feel the need
Of a soul freed
Sailing through the sky
Thought I could fly
At least I could try
My heart let me down
I refused to drown
I choose
Not to break loose
Keeping myself grounded
It sounded
Reasonable at the time
Living lost in some rhythm
No tear shall I cry
As time passes bye
From young to old
My body starts to fold
 Still, I follow the light
It burns so bright
Never letting it go
Basking in its glow
Cause I know
As long as I live
There's so much left to give
Can't say nope
I keep holding on to hope
It's my only rope
Facing each day
Following the way
Closer than ever before
Towards my time to soar
A heart set free
The peace that be
Tomorrow
No sorrow
Made my way
Through each day
Sometimes,
In some rhythms
It takes two
The heart so true
Lost in some yesteryear
I got past the tears
Even on my own
Remembering all I was shown
My heart has grown
I know today
love is the only way

Premium Member My Simple Prayer

The Lord is the portion of my inheritance
and of my cup thou maintainest my lot.
The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places
yea I have a goodly heritage I will
bless the Lord who has given me counsel
my reins also instruct me in the night seasons
I have set the Lord always before me
because he is at my right hand I shall not be moved
Therfore my heart is glad and my glory rejoiceth
my flesh shall rest in hope!

In the Dawn’s Gentle Light

In the dawn's gentle light, I see my mistake,
On our special day, I caused your heartache.
Forgive my foolishness, my words out of line,
I never meant to tarnish our love's shine.

With every breath, I regret the pain I caused,
In moments of anger, reason was paused.
But in the morning's glow, I see clear,
I'm sorry, my love, for my actions sincere.

Let me make amends, let me make it right,
I'll hold you close through the darkest night.
For in your embrace, I find my peace,
My love for you will never cease.

Face

Fine face is a mirror, A good smile is its arc, Courage is its armour, Emotion is its architect
