Just Make Me Ahhh
I want to write a poem about "come take my hand"
Do I always want you to take my hand?
Yeah but should you?
Sometimes I don't want you to take my hand
And let me fly
Sometimes I just want you to be in the background
and look upon me
Sometimes I don't want you to do nothing at all
You should do whatever you feel like
And not to feel like you have to oblige me, please me
The world is full of pleasers
If I want to be with them
I would have
I just want you - the glorious you
In all its splendor and goofers
Make me laugh, will ya?
But don't make me cry
Unless I want to cry
And at that point I will tell ya
Probably never
But just make me ahhh
That is when I don't know
And that is most of the time
- all the time
That is what I like
And what do you like?
