Trying Not to be So Negative

It's been a long time since I posted a blog; I keep thinking I should wait until my life is looking up, so that my blog won't be so negative....Alas, I may wait forever for that! The tumor surgery went okay; he got all of the tumor, but also took some of my pituitary gland and hypothalamus, too, which is wreaking havoc on my entire body...oy; next up: having ALL my teeth pulled (a side-effect of the disease). Then I need the precancerous lesion removed from the tip of my nose (a victim of a childhood lived before the invention of sunscreen). After that, my right knee needs to be scoped... It just gets better and better, doesn't it? On the bright side, my husband loves me, I am back to work, and I have lost 16 lbs. (The disease made me FAT, too!) I shall pray the almighty for your speedy recovery. I too suffered from cancer in 1994. Please share my poem "What gods there were" on soup.

I don't think talking about something as devastating as cancer is "being negative", Danielle. You are a courageous woman who is sharing your experience and, maybe, that would be beneficial for others here at the Soup!! I've never been into the chatroom here ... I've got enough to do just keeping up with poetry comments, SoupMail, blogs and writing ... LOL ... glad you're going better !!

Get well. That's an order. I type to slow to use a chat room. I have to shave beteen sentences. You got a man who loves you, you're back to work. You lost 16 lbs. Things are looking up. You still have a lot of people praying for you. Keep focussing on the positives. Vince

For ever negative there is a positive Danielle and sending all positive thoughts and prayers to u pronto.. u are a sweet and wonderful person and loving friend and poet and its just darkest before the dawn... so keep looking up and believing as I am with u too believing ... Hi, beautiful Danielle. You said " Don't be fooled! My husband is a pro photographer and an expert in PhotoShop" in your biography. I see more than a picture. I see a beautiful soul, sensitive but courageous, creative and friendly...and what a gift to have unconditional love supporting you!!! Many are not so lucky. Hi Danielle...just as the others have said before me...you have had more than your share of health issues, how would anyone not get discouraged from time to time? However, I have always sensed a sense of humor in you too, that I admire, and gives me an idea of who you are in spirit....someone who never gives up, and who has spunk and is willing to look down the road, and see possibilities! My hat's off to you dear girl!! So nice to see you here blogging, and posting, keep up your wonderful sense of humor, I'm so sorry for all you have had to endure...but know you are strong, and have someone wonderful by your side! Dear Danielle, It sounds like the side effects must be terrible for you to deal with, but I'm glad the surgery went well. Saw you posting again lately and am glad you are writing again.
