Dear Logan

Everyone knows it’s supposed to be me and you.
But because somebody decided to hurt me through you.

Personas Limitation

Personas have limits, boundaries veiled by the thin masquerade of pretense
They whisper promises of identity, yet crack under pressure of reality's weight—poet

Carefully paints fishtail eyes , studs, and crimson lips,  
satin scarfs around hug her hips

I escaped from Death today, 
And I don't know what to think. 
Because when Death comes round and round, 
you start to feel his scent and stink. 
There are others counting on me now.
I can't let them down, this I know. 
So close to Death and yet, so certain-

Persona, a mask we wear, a painted facade,
Protecting the heart, a secret, a code.
Painful truths concealed, a silent plea,
Playing a role, for all to see.

Profoundly, we craft a persona, a shield,
Protecting the soul, a truth concealed.

   She was persona non grata.

They hate her style
They hate her staff

They hate her swagger and generous grin

Comparison is an easy deceiver,
no one is much cleaner,
Everyone has their faults,

Self actualization materialized

to realization sweeping across avast arc

Performer Behind the Glass

Echo world behind the glass,
I make the same faces I did at twelve.
The grinning Cheshire Cat 
with teeth like piano keys,
mendacious and coy
because viewing my portrait with sobriety
forces me to march with familiar frailties.
I’m certain my gravitas is a forgery.
I am sure my laments and torments are 
playacted animation. 
	Their drama is loathsome.
