beneath the golden hues
lurks the befall of proud expanse of greens of yore
sun they chewed!
colour facade
gnawed warmth, melancholy gore
what fraud!!
In lust
of nature's core
dust!!!
beneath the golden hues
gnawed warmth, melancholy gore
dust!!!
Am I not a mime, for the world sees none of my crimes; my promises are all fibs in disguise.
Alas, I'm a coward; mustn't let my truth hover.
Tell me, will they not have me shattered if I bare my minds true platter.
Now ofcourse, I shall continue my facade for I crave their belaud.
The Rented Veneer
They offered gifts
Nothing but rotten silk,
A cheap spectacle
Staged for the public eye.
Now, in the suffocating quiet,
I am forbidden to touch it.
I can only breathe,
And give it back.
Alone, not really, but that's how it seems constricted and breathless is how I’d describe me.
My shoulders sag, but not because I'm weak, but because I have been carrying this weight for so long that it's imprinted into me all the while I'm flashing this smile that could've fooled Even me.
My laughter echoes throughout the room because I'm trying so hard not to reveal the real me manipulative right ? but if I didn't do it, who would be there to care from me to dry my eyes hold my hand and comfort me I've been imprisoned in my own mind for so long that I don't want anyone to try to free me.
What's the world beyond here?
Have to give me ?… I don't know.
And I couldn't dare wander out and go see because what good is this world if the reflection of the strong girl I've been seeing turns out to not really be me?
It wasn't the betrayal itself that shattered me,
but the smiles that masked the hatred.
It was the deceit behind the love they wore,
and the realization that every shared laughter
was a facade for the knives they held.
It's not the betrayal itself that shattered me,
but how I let them unravel the secrets of my heart,
offering my vulnerability to their sight.
It really isn't the betrayal that shattered me—
it was the ease with which they daggered my heart,
with no regard for the friendship I once held sacred.
It was the innocence in their eyes,
and the cold truth: my heart was never worth
what I believed it to be.

the fierce facade is false mosaic
pinions holding candy ginger
As you move, I see the falseness in each stride,
A puppet of deceit, with nothing left to hide.
Every gesture, once genuine, now feels forced,
A facade crumbling, revealing your true course.
Your words drip with venom, leaving a bitter taste,
A sharp sting that lingers, hard to erase.
Your voice, once soothing, now grates like nails,
Each syllable a dagger, a story that fails.
I watch your smile, now twisted and sly,
The deceit in your eyes is impossible to deny.
Your touch, once warm, now feels like ice,
A chill that spreads, devoid of any vice.
Your laughter, hollow and false,
Promising kindness, hiding the malice it scrawls.
The warmth you once radiated now feels cold,
A presence that darkens, making me fold.
~~~
I'm fed up with the makeup
with the whole facade
Continuios lies they tell themselves
In an effort to look like they're in control
Trying to stand on sinking sand
without a fondation of truth
Believing to to be smarter or better
without an once of proof
It won't end until those
most effected stand
In hope in common sense they will enroll
I gave up on everything, I gave up on everyone.
I know this is a heaven, but I just don't think it was meant for me.
If you knew me you would judge me for all those mistakes
So like the rest of us I carry this smile on my face and act like everything is alright as I try not to break.
My smile is like the love you gave me but all along it was fake
I once took my mother’s pearls
and wore them to kindergarten.
I wanted to look like an
Adult—
a word now bitter on my tongue.
In playgrounds, we believed
in monsters—
now we drink with them,
learn their masks,
mirror their smiles...
We say growing up means
ties with clips and red-bottom heels
when really
it's just learning—
to shed off sincerity,
so adulthood can
grow wings
threaded
with histories we never told.
In the shedding,
we never asked—
if the silk unraveling from our backs
meant we escaped—
or just overdressed
for the fall.
These scars on my wrists that you just don’t see
This noose around my neck means nothing to me
It’s just the way my life is entrapped by your charm
Your centerpiece of loveliness, you see no harm
No fears, no care,s don’t worry about me
My overrated façade is all you’ll see.
Live your life- Live mine too
Damn! I hate being just like you
You talked of trust when you have none
You spoke love, I’ll “always be the one”
Where is your love now, as I drown in pain
Tears fall like rivers in this never-ending rain
No fears, no care,s don’t worry about me
My overrated façade is all you’ll see.
Live your life- Live mine too
Damn! I hate being just like you
As I waste away, you don’t hear my cry
Watch out, Boy- Soon I’ll just die
But I’ll be replaced by a new little trophy
And you won’t be sad, you’ll just forget me
The transformation is complete once again.
An automaton is reborn in day.
Atop its tower it ponders in silence.
Atop its tower it observes in relevance.
Once again it is disconnected.
Truly distant and dejected.
A path it marches onto.
But there is no one at it's side.
It's facade still active yet deep down it hides the truth.
Recording and replaying never creating.
None able to reach it as it's solitude grows.
Blankface remains....
I've been known to fabricate entire planets,
crafting layers of reality like a masquerade ball.
Perhaps the greatest secret I hold of all,
is that there's no clear distinction to the eye,
between my art and my life,
only a thine blurred linen
where pandemonium of existence bites,
congeals into something recognizable.
But don't quote me on that;
I change my mind with the changing tides.
Our Kitty Kat has the sharpest claws
Right to the very end of her paws
When angry or upset ,she's a fright
So I try to be ultra polite -
Giving her books ...my fingers shake
Those almond of eyes stares like a quake .
Likewise called Sophisticat by few
She changes her looks, hairstyle anew
Dining with kings, leaders over tea
Her facade quite uncanny, you see--
Meows trail with many accents, her lie
She's Black Sheep's aide ,she's a German spy!
Halfway through learning life you find therein the games
Played by the oblivious and those who made names
Then your simplicity in view begins being challenged
As make believe is by hard facts rearranged
That society is both with and without bearing
For the old warmongering and peace brokering
Continue on side by side
Each taking turns at being follower and guide
And since good and evil formidably are frontiers
Furnishing many men with careers
Many men have become showmen
Obliviously courting omen
They play for whoever pays the pipers
Be they a flock or a brood of vipers
For only to themselves are they loyal
And money is their hearts’ royal
And they call their desertion a sacrifice
Though it be a cunningly justified compromise
And all these the young wait to ruthlessly learn
As we still claim to fight a brighter day to earn
