Premium Member My Honey and Me

      My honey and me
       are going to sea
     The terra firma, UC
is not for her or for me

     Living in the wood
       is not any good
     Summer’s full of fleas
       not to mention bees

     Winter’s chill freezes my nose
not to mention, I’ve lost three toes
So off we go, out onto the ocean
my jar of honey and me, devoted bosun

Lord love 'em

Lord, let's love all men,
Someone really needs to, dears,
They are so unique.

Premium Member What a Waste of a man

Another "I Do," Another Pledge**
I found myself confronting mortality in the guise of the viper on the day my heart was irrevocably broken. Deep within, I understand that he liberated you, much like the Meadowlark’s song.

Once again, I utter "I do" and make another pledge. The deceitful viper adorned himself in the same black suit. He donned the colors associated with malevolence during this second endeavor, for it is indicated that "strait is the gate and narrow is the way."

His countenance radiates as he feigns a smile, resembling a contrived pose for the camera. I observed the specter of death in his expression, reminiscent of Pinocchio’s nose.

The well-wishers murmured, "No discernment; what a disgrace, what a waste! A lamentable image of a man." The pastor solemnly proclaimed, "Amen."

I perceived death upon the visage of the haunted individual. The fissures in the antiquated brick wall emitted a haunting melody: "You stand before the altar as yet another fool."

Is this a wedding or a funeral—an evening fraught with foreboding? The middle-aged groom reflects a decline in love and kindness. Love, indeed, is blind.

Premium Member The Stumble and Rise

A girl with a giggle so grand,
Tripped on her own feet and landed.
She fell with a spin,
Then let the dance begin.
And twirled with the crown close at hand.

Premium Member Dance of the Angels

Through the clouds, breezing trees
Angels dance to a song by thee
Dressed in white, wings of purity
Peaceful blissful golden clarity

Rays of light, bursts of laughter
Hopeful sunshine, forgotten thunder
Forever waltzing to sweet tunes
Flying higher than balloons

Innocence captured in their eyes
Always smiling, no need for cries
Never tainted, protected by power
Pedals can't be pulled from flowers

Gracefully singing along to the song
Heavenly sent, no burden belongs
Radiantly, comfortably children forever
From January to December.......

buzzing night hours

I am broken in, i’ve learned
i have got no message to return

my ears ring, the streets sing
with your smile on displace
tomorrow takes today

Premium Member Air-Conditioned Flags

Betsy Ross sewed the US flag with ease
Fellow countrymen were more or less pleased

         A Scotsman stole her design
His wife sewed something so fine

Flags doubling as kilts ~ Waving in the breeze

Joy

Giddy is happy and happy is good!
And giddy with reason is as it should!
And should happy be reasoned and giddy sometimes
Then rest but joyful in happy giddy times!

Premium Member My Dream Within A Dream

By Poet "Our memories fill yesterday. Today our dreams will fill tomorrow."

Will my dream be here tomorrow?
A cool breeze does softy blow,
over me as if I will know.
Into deeper sleep I must go,
what will my dream now show?
I am still from head to toe,
feeling like I am aglow.
Another world I will go.

Within a dream what will I see?
A huge yellow bumble bee,
she was eating crackers and brie.
From this dream I want to flee,
please oh - please set me free.
My bed is now wet - I did pee,
let me out I will plea.
Now awake one, two, three.

My dream within a dream,
was it just too extreme?
It made me pee then scream,
what a very wild dream theme.
The bee rode a leaf downstream,
what a weird bee daydream.
Through the trees I saw a sunbeam,
the bright light looks like ice cream.
Now waking up with self esteem.
